What did it do?

I know that the spell Willow did made every potential Slayer into a Slayer, but I noticed a few things that were kinda weird.

1. Xander, Dawn, Anya, Andrew, Robin, and Giles were all able to take on the Turak-Hon vampires. If they are only human, and one Turak-Hon kicked the crap outta Buffy, then how could they possibly take on a big group of them?
2. The Turak-Hon vampires weren't nearly as ugly or powerful as that one was in Showtime.

So, are those part of the writers license where you can change things around, or was that part of the spell too?

I don't know. I noticed that too. Maybe its when Buffy first saw the vamp she kinda freaked and wasn't so sure she could take it. You know kinda like Glory. But in the end it was all in her mind and they weren't so hard to kill after all 😕

Well, the vampires were obviously more powerful than she was. It could enter a house without an invite, couldn't be staked, holey water didn't work. So, I dunno if it was all in her head.

well ok maybe not. Maybe willow did another spell before they left the house to help out the non slayers and we just didn't see it. Either that or its just another tie that was left open for us to ponder about.

Did any of the humans take on the Turok-Han? I thought they only fought off Bringers.

Anyway, after Buffy defeated the first Turok-Han, it became easier for the others, because now they knew how to fight them and how to kill them.

I think it was a writers mistake but also The Turok-Han who got out of the seal before Chosen were much stronger and vicious, they probably were also powered up by the first unlike the Turok-Han in the hellmouth.

allycat - yeah, they all fought Turak-Hons.

Primal - i was thinking that before, too

Only Dawn and Xander fought a few Turok Han and took them out with sunlight actually very believalbe. I KNOW that Andrew and Anya didn't fight any Turok Han. Um, not sure about Giles and Wood, but I remember seeing them only fight Bringers. So yeah, Dawn was the only one who fough the turok han I think) and it wasn't a in a non believable way.

I agree that only Dawn and Xander were the only Scoobs to 'deal with Turoks. But they were quickly eliminated by Dawn pulling the cord and revealing sunlight. So, they didn't really fight them.

Everybody else fought bringers.

Also, it's been though that the first initial ubervamp that escaped was the most powerful. The ones that were inside the hellmouth weren't quite as strong.

but who knows?

Actually I checked the transcript, it says they all fought off Turok-Han at one point.

some of these are kinda hard to see

I agree that it was believable how Dawn and Xander took out the Turak-Hon's. But it seemed as if Giles and Wood were attacked by 15, and survived.

Yea i noticed that, and i thought that some of the Scoobies fought a few Turok-hans. Maybe the power it took for so many Turok-hans to be brought through the seal lessened each individual Turok-han's strength. Because even if it was only the slayers that fought them, Buffy one on one with a Turok-han was nearly killed. A handful of the slayers against a couple of thousand Turok-hans wouldn't have even been a fight. It would have been a masacre with all dead slayers left before the amulet Spike wore even did anything. So my theory is that the strength must have been lessened by that amount of power needed to bring all the Turok-han's through the seal.

That's a good theory. That makes sense though. The one that first came out was very powerful, but when like 30 came out they were weak. it makes sense.

I was thinking that since the First was still building the army, maybe they weren't up to the full potential that the very first one was. Because there were alot down there, how come the First didn't send them all out earlier? Course I could be missing something.

I don't know. I don't think he could have let them all out because then the finale would have come sooner? I dunno. lol.

I guess he (assuming it's male, cause of the being evil) didn't bring them out sooner, because he knew his army wouldn't be able to to beat the Scoobies, the Watchers, the Fang Gang, the Initiative and all other things that fight on the side of good. He was waiting untill his army was big enough to destroy them all.

I thought that the reason The First raised the first Turok-Han was because he was the strongest, and he'd want to wipe Buffy out quickly, though it didnt work.
Lets go over the characters aswell:

Robin - We all know he's got a little more strength than most people.
Giles - He can take care of himself.
Xander - We've seen him take care of himself too.
Anya - She kicked ass, plus, thousand year old ex-demon!
Dawn - Xander protected her, but she dusted some.
Andrew - Useless piece of sh-

Im sorry, Im angry now, cuz of Anya, so...nevermind...
