I'm probably one of the rare few who thinks Faith is highly overrated. I don't know, she kind of annoys me. I love Eliza though. What I like about season 3 is Anya enters the Buffyverse. Even though her character doesn't have a huge role in the season, I still enjoyed her.

At first season 3 never really stood out for me in terms of overall story arc with the mayor etc, but when I think back it had some brilliant episodes; The Wish, Dopplegangland and Band Candy for example. The last episode with the students fighting in grad robes was pretty cool too 🙂

It's really close to being my favourite season of all, and it would have been if season 2 hadn't been so intense emotionally speaking! 🙂
Like Season 2, I think that I can watch over and over every single episode of Season 3 with the same pleasure!!! the writing, the acting, the filming aspect of that season are all excellent! I love the evolution of the storyline Buffy+ Angel, I'm impressed by the whole story arc with Faith, Eliza Dushku is a fantastic actress, she is Faith, she made this character her own!!!😎 Yesterday I watched again "Enemies" one of my favourite episodes, and the three actors (David, Sarah and Eliza), all together they are awesome!!
Plus, I am probably in the minority but I think it's not that easy to play someone who can't lie very well as this is the case with Faith!!! for exemple, when Buffy and Faith go and see the Demon that Faith had killed a little before, we can see from the way she talks that she's lying to Buffy! I don't know why but I like the way she lies and I'm impressed with Eliza's acting...and then, after that, there is the great scene with the three actors!!!
Many episodes in this season are also favourites of mine!
the other reason why I love this season so much is of course the relationship within the scoobie gang, the meetings at the library, the close relationship between them but also all the moments when they fight for exemple Xander/Buffy over Angel (I see those moments as a normal thing because they're so different and I understand that Xander thinks Angel is bad for Buffy). This is what true friendship is like! You can't always feel the same way as everybody about some people. But they still give support and comfort to one another! ex: Xander helping Buffy in "Amends" or buying Cordelia her dress for the Prom Ball..., I don't count the times when Willow gives her support to Buffy! etc...
so yeah!!! fantastic season for me and the Mayor is a great baddie too! he's very funny and can be very sweet when he's not evil planning!

I enjoyed season 3 with a lot of fun in this season. I liked Anya first appearance too in the Wish, Bar Candy with Giles was awsome !!! And also liked Oz character with his short fun sentences !!! The Mayor and Faith were also a good point to this season and then, end of Bangel that should happen. Cool season
