What did you want to be when you were little?

I wanted to be a rock star.... until life got in the way and I ended up loving my kids too much to want to spend a life away from them all the time.

I completely understand! ;)
Actor and professional hockey player. 😛 Yes... I'm a canuck!

"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down "˜happy'. They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life."

Conclusion, happy would have been great since I'm depressed a lot. Anyhoo... As a kid, not teenager, I wanted to play soccer for a living. For many, many reason that didn't work out. My 9 years were way, way more than the doctors thought I'd manage so I shouldn't complain.

Please note: I'm not american. 😉

When I was a child my mum always told me I was the funniest person in the world and that I should be a comedian, so I wanted to be that. 😀 Thinking back on it, isn't that just the sweetest thing, her telling me this? Makes me happy thinking about. 🙂

But yeah... I don't want to be that anymore. I'm going to be a social worker in a not so distant future at all. 🙂

When I was little I wanted to be a veterinarian. But then I later found out that I'm allergic to cats, some dogs, etc.

Well when I was a kid I wanted to be a pyromaniac... not kidding... glad to say that didn't work out...

(not sure where I got the idea from even... ah youth, the wacky things one did 😉)

When I was 5 (which lasted until I was 17) I declared that I was going to be a geneticist when I grew up. Nobody that was my age ever knew what that was. When I was 16, I took a psychology class and a year later I decided that I'd rather be a psychologist. And so I am...well I am a child/ adolescent therapist by training but I'm taking some time off to stay home with my now walking one year old. Stay-at-home mom is my favorite job yet. I'm sure being a geneticist and perhaps working down the road at CDC would have been fun though.
