What Do You Do When Boredom Strikes?

I'm going to assume that all of us have been bored at some point 😛

Recently, as a way to pass the time, I decided to try and make a somewhat decent replica of the "Book of Shadows" from Charmed. I don't take credit for any of the pages, just simply found 'em on the internet, poured coffee on them, threw them in the oven for a few minutes, and then vola! Aged paper!

And a fan page I found online that I HAD to add!

So, what do you guys do when you're bored? Read, draw, write?

Thanks, It's a labor of love 🙂. I've really got nothing else to do but work on that, write fanfic, and watched Buffy/Angel, Charmed, & Supernatural. School doesn't count because i'm forced by law to do that 😛

I myself have tried to paint, and I fail completely at it 😛 Everybody's good at different things I guess 🙂

Wow, pretty cool book! I'm not really a fan of Charmed, but I've definitely watched quite a few episodes, and that is an awesome replica. 🙂

Lately, I've been finding myself getting back into video games. I play the Resident Evil games to the point of insanity sometimes. 😉 I also write songs. When I have nothing to do, I just start jotting down things that pop up in my head. Different words, phrases, anything, I just write them down. I don't usually try to make any sense of them until later on, when certain words that I've written down somehow connect, you know?

I find that I am always occupying my mind one way or another. Be it catching up on TV, playing video games, working on RPG stuff for the games club, working, coming on BB to post nonsense 😉. Also, being an only child, I have a really high boredom threshold. I can't sit and do nothing for hours with only my thoughts for company and still be quite happy.

oh wow! nice one, i was going to answer the thread with 'when im bored i eat or watch tv' but now it sounds even more pathetic after seeing your work of art.
I have made cloth dolls in the past when bored but i really have to be in the mood to do them.

Thanks, and I assume you mean how long it took me to age the paper. I've gotten probably about 16 pages done in the past five days, so I would say probably only about three or four hours

I don't watch Charmed, but I can safely say that that book you made looks very neat! 😀

When I'm bored, I usually pop in a DVD of some TV show, or look for something to do on the internet. But that's usually when I'm just bored at home, otherwise I hang out with friends or something.

Well whenever I'm bored I always open my three fundamental tabs: Youtube, Facebook, and Buffy Boards, and I just mess around on the three of them, but thats only for when I literally have NOTHING to do.

Well, if anyone wants to see more, here some of the other pages I have. I'm actually working on aging more right now, but some of the color ones I had (Had one of Buffy to go along with the Slayer page) the ink ran out of them, so I'm going to age the paper itself, and then reprint them.

I usually watch tv shows. If I don't feel up for a rewatch of one of my favorite shows, I find a show I've never seen and make a marathon 🙂

Other times I also read and draw. And I sometimes make cards front using Photofiltre (see link in signature 😉 )

Since I added a Buffy page to my book, I decided to make an Angel page to go with it. (Yes, Buffy/Angel technically don't exist in Charmed's 'verse, but its my book and I can add what I want 😛) A couple minutes with Paint.NET, and here it is. Once I age it, I'll add a photo of it.

Appropriate question for me since I've been sick the last week and have been bored out of my mind!!! I would like to say I read, draw, write poetry, educated myself in someway....haha Uuuuh yeaaaaah, but really I've been marathoning The Voice, America's Top Model, and SYTYCD and perusing Facebook waaaay too much. My greatest acheivement is passing Super Mario Bros. 3! YES!!!! 😀 😀

I will read and finish a great book. I will watch a documentary. I will read up on the November elections!! aaaahhhhhh!!!! LOL

I'm a gamer, so I game when I'm bored. Otherwise I read and write, and watch a tv series. At the moment its season 1 of Game of Thrones and Supernatural, season 6.

Just like Summerlilly, I've been sick the past week, and also just like her, I wish I could say I do anything meaningful - but I don't.
Right now I also have a very bad internet connection (we don't have internet yet because of the new academic year and the old tenants cancelled their contract, so I'm using the wifi from a restaurant next door, which isn't ideal, because it's pretty weak and crashes a lot...but hey, better than nothing), so I can't really stream anything either. I actually can't really say what I do all day. It's really nothing. Sometimes I play Patience for like an hour, or I attempt to read, but I'm not really a good reader and I space out a lot and have to reread everything, so I get bored pretty quickly.

And I just waste wayy too much time on Facebook, checking my phone and snacking.
