What do you find attractive?

Just a curiosity thing...

I've been through a couple bad, or at least lacking, relationships recently. They've kind of lead me to take stock of what I find appealing in someone. Basically I've been looking to find out why I've been doing what I've been doing, to figure out what it is I've been doing wrong and why I've been doing that.

I came to an odd conclusion: I find women I respect to be extremely attractive. For whatever reason (I haven't nailed that part down yet) I find women I respect attractive. Whether or not they might be good for me from a relationship perspective, I seem to pursue such women the most. For some reason, as an example, strong women, who can take charge and handle themselves, thereby earning some respect from me for that, seem very attractive to me (regardless of whether or not I originally thought they were).

I was wondering whether the rest of you fine people have similar things which drive you? Feel free to be as deep or as shallow as you like...

What do you dig in those you prefer?
 
I look for eyes, and a wicked personality (like someone who's sweet, and I can laugh with and wooo!) lol

Again out of curiosity... what the heck is "wooo!" Haven't found that in the dictionary 😀 !

lol,things I look for are sense of humor,good personality,a nice smile..and eyes,I love it when someone has nice eyes 🙂

So, in addition to the main question, eyes seem important, What makes nice eyes? Is it color? Is it the size of the pupil? Something more? Something less?

Be specific... what gives?

(side note... would Xander be half the man he used to be?)
 
He must make me feel secure and at least pretend good he cares bout me.As for eyes-I don't care bout color or how big/small they're, but that special..let's call it warmth has to be there.Personality and inteligence is also v.important to me-I want someone,with whom I can really talk,but by that I don't mean you have to have master degree..Ok now I started babbling...
 
sense of humor. i think...that...i could learn to live with everything but that....im not sure how happy i'd be if they weren't openminded but...
being comfy with themselves is a plus, so is seeing no strains of rampant jealousy. wouldn't want to be made uncomfortable either....thatd be no fun....i really wouldn't mind being able to talk to them either....intelligently and nonsensely. theyd hafta be able to put up with that....me and sense...ive meet sense everyonce in awhile, shes a great lady, and i wish she'd visit me more often
respect is great. so is having a few things in common, being able to talk...and...eye wise...eyes are pretty, but i can't see anything but a pupil iris and white stuff in them...sometimes veins too, but nothing....dun think there's anything else really...i like nice people. theres other little things, like quirks and endearing things but....
 
Hmm what do I find attractive?

Guyz who are active. I'm an athlete and I go running every morning at 5 in the morning. I want a guyz who will not be lazy and go with me!!! Cause girlz hate lazy guyz.

Another thing I find attractive is intellegence. I want to be able to have interesting convesation. Not a meaningless one about some meaningless subject. I want to be able to have an intellegent conversation about politics or books. Sorry I'm weird about that.

Looks are a factor to. I'm a sucker for blue eyes and dark hair. I'm not that picky about looks. But that what I go weak in the knees for!!!! lol

Sense of humor is a must. I'm very silly and quirky. When I end up embarrassing myself I laugh my @ss off at myself!!! I want a guy who will laugh with me.

And also respect is important. I don't want to be force into doing something I don't want to do.
 
curiosly i just discover i have some sort of atraction for the blue eyed guys, my 2bf had it..and funny guys, who apperantly can't keep theyr mouth shut for a minute and have that hole "bad boy" thing..don't know why...i realkly love to like a nice guy for a change..*shrugs*

I seem to be attracted to geekyness...Guys with sort of low self esteem, that are shy, and with a sarcastic kind of humour. Xander is a very good example of guys I'm atrracted to. And of course there is the evil guys...Like Spike, Angelus...But guys like that are more the kinda guys I'd like to have an affair with, guys like Xander are the ones I'd like a real relationship with. Of course, a cute face, a nice body, and good hair doesn't hurt! Hair is actually one of the first things I notice about a guy...
 
Looks to gain my attention and a personality to keep it. Can't stand girls who just look at you and smile a few times during the conversation.
 
JustAnnie, I'm big on nice hair, too! It's one of the few physical features I might actually base on whether or not I'll talk to a guy.

I find intelligence very sexy, but I'm not looking for a rocket scientist. Someone who can carry on a conversation about books, politics, music, religion, etc is ideal.

One of my pet peeves is guys that aren't very conversational. I can keep a conversation going, but I'm not a big talker myself, which is why I like to be with someone who is. My current boyfriend has intelligence, but he's not big on talking unless, according to him, "there's something to say". And don't use the line "but I like to listen to you talk".

Humor is a must. I hate dull, serious guys. It's good to be capable of breaking up awkward silences or embarrasing moments by cracking a joke, and God knows with me there's plenty of both.

Someone who's a bit orginal and funky. I lean towards liberals, rockers, free-thinkers, skaters, etc. I'm not really attracted to men in suits.

And, one of the most important things, is creativity. It keeps the relationship exciting.
 
I don't know why, but I have a small problem with brown eyes. It's not that they are unattractive by any means, they are just too easy to get lost in. I prefer green, hazel, or blue. More mystery (or something like that), harder to read.
I am just weird that way.
 
Bearing in mind that i'm married, i'll speak hypothetically here 🙂

I love tall guys, over 6ft tall if possible. I also like them to look healthy, no major skinny guys, they do absolutely nothing for me. I also hate the body builders look with massive muscles.. just in between.

I love dark haired men, with curls!, i have a weakness for a guy with curls. Love intense coloured eyes, blue, green, brown. And a cute smile. Cute butt.

And personal hygiene is important too, i love when a guy just smells so good that it makes my heart pound.

And someone who can make me laugh, with a great sense of humour... i don't go for intense guys who don't smile.

As i said, hypothetically speaking of course 😉
