I know that some members do know what others look like, but before you did what did you think they looked like? Are they like their avatars or do you have an image of them in your head? Did you image someone the wrong sex?

Did I inspire this thread?! I know what a lot of people look like already, [MENTION=11292]kittenpoker[/MENTION] is exactly what I imagined her to look like. All skinny and adorable. I picture Darla (almost, almost tagged her. Phew.) as being tall and curvy (definitely NOT fat, but Marilyn curves) and dark wavy hair. Umm. I've always pictured [MENTION=6332]Lyri[/MENTION] as being blonde for some reason. And [MENTION=7585]Kean[/MENTION] as having long dark hair and a fringe. Ummm... Most of the other people on here I've seen pics of or have on facebook.

Oh God... I most certainly do not look like Adam Baldwin! Haha. Quite a few people have assumed that I'm male in the past.
Yeah I pretty much imagine people based on their avatar. I don't know why, it just happens! And if there's no M or F in your postbit, I just go with whatever is in your av without realising it, it's not good 😛 What also throws me when it comes to gender is the fact that I can't see your real names. I know names aren't a guarantee of gender but that seems to be what I go off on other boards!
Lyri has been known to be blonde. She dyes her hair like Oz does; you never know what colour it will be at any given time. Most recently it was red.
And I have also been known to have long dark hair with a fringe, not for a long time though. It's short and light brown at the mo.

It's silly but I do picture people to be like their avatars for some reason. Though saying that, I don't really look like Morena at all.
She really is like my kid - I was like that in my younger days.

Even though I know what a lot of members look like, and have met a few I do still picture them as their avatars, it is just a mental association.

I'm the same, I generally imagine people like their avatars. There's some people who've really shocked me when I've seen what they look like in real life (usually in a good way 😀 )
I always imagine [MENTION=6330]arabella[/MENTION] to look exactly like her avatar....except pregnant hehe. I'd be very upset if she changed it to someone else.

I stopped with the crazy colours (i.e. pillarbox red, black with purple and blue streaks, purple) about 10 years ago. I stopped switching between brown (and was even blonde once) and stuck with my natural colour, well I say natural it got darker as it older so I like to make it a bit more coppery.
As well as relating looks to an avatar I also tend to relate moods and personality as well.

Everytime I read a post from [MENTION=6758]white avenger[/MENTION] I have to think about a man 64 years old man with grey hair and glasses sitting in coloured shorts and a coloured t-shirt infront of a computer. I have no idea why this pic always comes in my mind it's just the way it is. I hope you don't take this offensive white avenger. 😀 🙂
