What do you like about Paige/Rose?

I'll go with the character of Paige. She reminds me so much of myself, the female verison of me! :lol: Her facial expresions are one I usually do and getting straight to the point on what is on her mind is another trait of mine.

I just really like the character of Paige and think that Rose does a great job of bringing the character to life, so much that I think she puts a little of herslef into the character.
 
I love Rose and her portrayal of Paige. She really makes Paige a great character and and someone I'd like to know, and that's what makes a character. If you want to know that character then the actor has done it right. She has wonderful expressions and has a way of being very strong and determined while also showing a touch of insecurity and unasuredness that make Paige very charming, and real. 🙂
 
Paige has really grown on this show. When she first came on, I was not happy with her at all. Could've been my missing of Prue tho. But Rose has came a long way and really made her character great 🙂
 
A rose by any other name

Rose McGowan's role as Paige Matthews is first on my list of favorite characters she has played. The other two are:

Courtney Alice Shayne in 'Jawbreaker' and Tatum Riley in 'Scream'.


Tatum: Oh, please don't kill me, Mr. Ghostface, I wanna be in the sequel!


Plus she has great hair. No matter what the color.
 
I'm a longtime Rose fan and think Rose is doing an outstanding job in her portrayal of Paige. I love Paige's sense of humour and her strong sense of instinct. Rose has turned this role into her own and Rose has seemed to evolve along with the character of Paige.
 
I love Paige, She has everything I want in my dream girl. Humourous, nice, caring. Everything!

I can't judge about Rose because I do not know her well 🙂
 
Rose is definitively one of my favorite actress.
She's cute and I really like how she's playing Paige in Charmed.
 
Personally...I like Paige a lot more when she is evil...hence The Evil Enchantress and Vampire Paige. I tend to like Rose more than I like the character of Paige though.
 
Yes, you can really tell how much Rose has grown since she joined the cast and the character of Paige too. I just love the mannerisms of Paige!

You can very much tell that Rose has made the characters hers. 🙂
 
Ive liked Rose since Scream. I LOVED her in Jawbreaker and Devil in the Flesh.

She has such an exotic look due to her ethnic heritage....the darker, cooler features.....(similar to madonna BEFORE the blonde hair) and she definately has a "babe-a-licious" vibe that she exuded in Scream, Jawbreaker and Devil in the Flesh.

When i first read that she would be joining the cast of Charmed (instead of Tiffani Theissen) i was really intrigued. I assumed that she might bring a certain, icy/bitchy persona to the new Halliwell sister....and that she would be rather devious in the use of her powers. But the character of Paige has dissapointed me in terms of personality. She's too...."restrained", too under confident (at least up till the recent season) and she definately hasnt been allowed to fully revel in her powers the way the others sisters have.

So while i do like Rose as an actress for her looks, her style and many of the roles ive seen her in. I have to say i do not like the way she plays Paige. I'm sure its not her fault the way Paige is written.....but I just was hoping for a darker, slightly less "moral" sister to come out of this.
