I actually thought it was handled pretty well. She was still the same gal, making silly jokes, getting the names of demons wrong etc. Alot of people dont think that it was true to her character when she went through all that depression in season 6, but I think it was very on the money. I think about it this way, the first time she died, she came back in When She Was Bad and was acting different, like a total "bitca". Then in season 3, in Bad Girls when she was held under the water (course she doesn't actually die in this ep, but its the symbolism of the thing) by that vamp she gets up and she is different, shes more like Faith. When you look at it like that its actually pretty typical of her, just taken to a more extream level coz its a more extream circumstance. I think she came full circle over the course of the series, and as Ive said on another board before, part of the reason I love this show is coz its not a story about a superhero that happens to be a girl but a girl who happens to be a superhero. So not to show her go through a whole spectrum of human emotions and grow and change would not be true to life.
