What do you think about spoilers?

Depends on what it concerns but generally no, I don't care for spoilers, I prefer not knowing and seeing the story unfold as meant to. Sometimes I'll look for them, though I usually regret it, I hate being accidentally spoiled though.

For me, it really depends on what it is. I started watching Bones for the first time last season, and did eventually go back and watch the rest of the series. Spoilers there didn't bother me. Same with Castle, I'm watching season 2 right now and I'm dying to find out if Bailey Chase comes back this season, so I'll probably look that up (although I don't think he does). But I hate Fringe spoilers! I still haven't seen season 3 (waiting for the DVDs to come out on Netflix- 4 more days!), and I turned off the Fringe posts on my FB news. I do know one big spoiler, because that was hard to avoid, but I know nothing about how it happened yet.

I haven't minded the Torchwood spoilers, they don't seem to reveal too much info. But this first Angel & Faith issue? I almost felt like it was a waste of money to buy it since most of it is online anyway!

I hate spoilers. So much so that I've stopped following people on twitter and tumblr until The Vampire Diaries starts. I wanna see s3 ep1 in all it's mystical glory. I don't wanna know what's gonna happen. Thanks to them, I know it's
Elena's birthday party
which I didn't want to know. 🙁

Most of Angel was spoiled for me by people who knew I was watching it. My former roommate spoiled the identity of Twilight before I got there in the comics. It takes the fun out of it, the emotion out. I hate spoilers with a passion, and I always feel SO bad when I accidentally spoil something for someone else.

Sadly, almost nothing in Buffy came as a surprise to me. I looked up just about every detail and then got hooked, so I knew about just about everything. Which is sad, because I didn't get to speculate about what would happen or be shocked by an event.

Well I am kind of torn when it comes to spoilers. I make videos and watch them so sometimes I am spoiled. If I really want surprises then I get mad. Usually I am okay with it if I look or ask. If I don't ask and someone blurts it out I get upset and say well thanks for that one.

If it is a characters death and I am spoiled then I get really upset I liked to be shocked in those departments for the most part.

Oh, I basically have no patience. If something's really driving me crazy, I have to look it up. In general.

I hate being spoiled if I'm not looking to be spoiled. I was quite the spoiler whore when I was watching Buffy. I found out about almost everything that happened before I watched it happen. In retrospect I really wish I hadn't. When I was obsessed with House and the new seasons were being released in the States months and months before they were released here, I used to actually read the scripts. Pretty sad, huh? But when I get spoiled against my will, I hate that. Which is why I try to be aware of what spoilers I may be divulging when something is relatively new. For instance, the Buffy comics. I accidentally found out through youtube about quite a significant plot point in the last couple of issues of season 8 which made me very, very mad. And I'm still mad to this day because I'll never know what it would have been like for me to read about it for the first time in the actual context of the story.

The only time I like to expose myself to spoilers is when I'm unsure of a show or movie. Like maybe if it looks stupid or might not be my sort of movie knowing all the spoilers can help decide if I waste my time with it.

I also count movie trailers as spoilers sometimes particularly if its for a movie I'm excited about. Otherwise I find myself thinking "so when is that scene with the crazy looking car chase/dragon fight etc going to happen like I saw in that Trailer". I like to go in with a blank slate for anything I think I might enjoy.

With Buffy didn't really spoil myself, but as I couldn't watch Angel when it aired and had to wait for it to be released on VHS, I spoiled my self by reading what happened in each episode during the later seasons.

I absolutely love spoilers. Without some, I just get bored. I love to know what is going to happen, because it makes me want to get there already. For example, I got bored with Lost because I felt like the writers had no idea where they were going. Now that it's over and I can read every spoilers possible, I want to watch the show, because I know it all lead to somewhere rather than just have the feeling that there is a lot of suspens to keep the audience interested.

It's also because of the spoilers I had about Illyria that I decided to watch Angel. Otherwise, I wasn't really interested.

And I've stopped watching Pretty Little Liars because as long as I don't read spoilers that make me want to catch up, I just feel like the writers don't really know where they are going, and I feel like a suspens slave.

So yeah, I love spoilers. A lot.

Depends. I enjoy reading spoilers for upcoming Buffy issues, but when it comes to TV shows I'm watching, a spoiler can ruin my day. I like the suspense and surprises.
