What do you think bout David's directing debut??

Well, then I'll be the first one to say that I hated it. I mean, David's a good actor but the episode was just bad. Maybe you could just chock it up to bad writing, but I never enjoyed a minute of it. After re-reading that, I sound really pissy ... but it's the truth. 😛

see with me. i couldn't tell the difference between his directing and another directors directing, so that has to mean it was rpetty good. and there was some cutting and directing in the spike/lindsay scenes that i thought were really good. good job DB!

It was good.

Personally, there didn't seem to be much of a diffence between the other directors. So, I survived and, hey we still got to watch an episode of Angel, so I could care less if Elmo directed it.

(well, maybe I would, but you get the point)

I thought he was trying to be unique and succeeded fairly well. I liked the shot going inside Angel to show that he is empty. There were a few things that bothered me plot wise and character wise but he did a decent job. I think he is a better director than actor.
