There are many MMO out there, some good, some well not very good.
As much as even the good MMO's are fun to play, they are extreamly repetitive.
so there i am thinking, what if there would be a buffy MMO?
just like WoW, there would be two sides, good vs bad,
The story would follow season 7 after all potential slayers are awaken.
at the start of the game you would choose between the good or bad side
if good you would play as a potential who has just found out about her powers,
or if bad then a vampire.

This is only a though i have, so share your thoughts/opinions about this idea
or thing it would be possible to add.

I don't really like MMORPGs. The stories tend to be far less rich as the offline computer RPGs. Personally, I'd be more in favour of a Buffyverse Campaign Setting for D&D or even a separate d20 game like Star Wars d20. If that works, BioWare or Obsidion create an offline computer RPG for it.

I think a Buffy MMO after season 7 would be cool.

There is going to be a Firefly MMO, that should be interesting.

You will never get a stable Joss Whedon MMORPG. If they realease any they will die horribly within a year. Because World of warcraft have taken that market over even Marvel cancelled their MMORPG because of world of warcraft. Also there's the games workshop MMORPG coming out shortly which looks awesome and between War (the name of the games workshop game) and world of warcraft there simply isnt much space left for anything else.

I'm going to move this into Inside Out, as the subject is how great a game would be, not the actual playing of a game. 🙂

And yes....a game would be amazing. I am a huge RPG fan, I have played Wow a few times but I'm more into Balder's Gate, D&D Heroes, Fable, KOTOR, Mass Effect.

Thinking about an MMO of the Buffyverse, well it almost makes me cry. However I NEVER EVER see this happening (unfortunately). I honestly think it's just too big an undertaking and the demand just not high enough.

Great taste in games!
^ Jenny... I don't recognize you. did you change your screen name recently?

That said, umm... what does MMO stand for?

I've heard of WOW. I have friends who play it. I also saw the South Park on it. I, personally, have never been able to get into those games. I fumble around for awhile trying to get the hang of it, but everyone gets mad at me cuz I'm new and don't know what I'm doing, so then it gets boring and sort of confidence crushing for, you know, a game. It seems like fun, but I don't want to put in the time required to get good at it. However, if there were a Buffy game and I were playing with you fine folks, maybe I'd give those games another go. 🙂

Our RPG on here suits my needs just fine, though. Plus, it's free!
