What Do You Think Of No Cordy Next Season?

shell be there once in a blue moon... but her new character was getting tired... so yeah, ill miss her, but ive been missing the good ole cordy for once in a while now, so loosing this cordy doesnt hurt me at all matter a fact it makes me smile 😀

i think this will do great thing to save the cordy character.... cos like i said... was getting tired
 
I didn't like her in S4, but I heard she was great in S1-3. She been doing Buffy/Angel for 7 yrs. She should get a break.
 
Ok , I have a question? How are they going to explain her coma (which is due to her giving birth to Connor's "baby") if Connor is no longer recognized as Angel's son? Or am I being silly?
 
Lilah Morgan, dont diss on Connor, (I would sleep with him annyday) But what u said was pretty funny LOL ^_^....
Im now starting to miss good old cordy, the one in buffy and the first 3 seasons of angel but i guess I will get over it.

She should get a chance to be a good guy again, even if it is only for an episode or two.
She was pretty awful in season 4. It would be a shame to let her go out on that note.
Unfortunately I have a feeling that she might not have a chance to redeem herself.

I liked Angel Season 1 & 2 Cordy only. When they were done with Pylea, that was it. She was still the "old" Cordy in Pylea. "You're going to trade me for one lousy pig!" hehe. I liked the Bitchly, self-centered, "you're in my light" kind of Cordy--that underneath really did give a damn.
 
I'll miss her, but she deserves a break. I just hope she's in the season premiere so they can get her out of the coma and have her say her goodbyes. It sucks when they don't give closure to a character.

It's kind of strange to have her leaving, though. The only original cast member from Buffy left as a regular will be Angel...
 
Characters come and go, as the actors who portray them enter and leave the series. I enjoyed CC's contributions to both shows: long-running characters bring continuity to their shows. But their presence can also limit the directions a show can take. When a character (such as Cordy) leaves it creates a new realm of possibilities for the story and the remaining characters.
 
Well, I guess Angel is now the only original Btvs cast member still fighting in the Buffyverse. I guess we have to call the Angelverse now. That's so depressing.
 
I'm really saddened and will miss cordy on angel... i loved her character... cept for this past season... evil cordy i did not like... but i will miss her... i hope they bring her back... i don't know how they'll explain her just being gone now...

I am glad Cordy has left. She really grew as far as she could as a character (Remember her on Buffy). So there was really nothing left for her to do. She fell in love with Angel, became evil and slept with Connor, had a god for a kid, what could possibly be next? I will miss her sarcasm though. Someone else needs to pick up that slack, maybe it will be Spike's job, he is just as good at it.
 
i can't wait for spike.... but still wish cordy was gonna be there next season...

She needs to see Spike when he gets there, freak out, then find out he's not evil, then say some smart sarcastic remark. That's how they should bring Spike into the show. But NOOOooo... she's slowly getting brain damaged
 
I am really going to miss Cordy, however I think it is in keeping with tradition for an "innocent" character to be sacrificed in a seemingly meaningless and sudden way...Joyce, Kendra, Jenny, Tara...despite being a "fantasy" show, Joss is good about showing that sometimes people leave us even though it may not seem fair, not every story has a happy ending

Kristin at Eonline as well as numerous other sources have announced that Vinent Kartheiser (Connor) will indeed be back next year, but for only a single episode. Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) who has been with the Buffyverse longer than anyone now that Buffy is over, is expected to have a Giles-style recurring role next year, which is actually something she expressed in wanting last year. Now that her baby has arrived and Cordelia is in a coma, it only makes sense.

It is also reported that Mercedes McNab (Harmony) will return to the show for season 5 in a recurring role with a possibility of being added as a cast member at midseason. Christian Kane (Lindsey) and Stephanie Romanov (Lilah) are both currently negotiating contracts for next year.

Daniel Dae Kim (Gavin) who was killed off in 'Habeas Corpses' in 4x08 can be seen in several movies this year, including big release "The Hulk," as well as "Sin" and "Momentum."
 
Taking Cordelia out of Angel is like taking out Willow or Xander from BTVS. She was on Buffy from way back! The show's going to lose one of its true originals not to mention one outta two of the only females in the whole cast. It totally sucks if you ask me.
 
well I would be alittle sader of not having Cordy there but even Joss said that they totally changed her personality, Cordelia isnt the person who I liked, her personality did like a 360 or something, its like shes a different person now anyway, they need to bring back Queen C
