What Do You Think Of No Cordy Next Season?

Could be, though it won't be the same thing without Cordelia she's not needed from my point of view, Angel is evolving, bringing new topics and characters to the series. I think if Charisma has to appear it should be to make a closure or if she has cleared up the things in her head, start slowly, but with her usual humour and with news to tell the gang.
 
I loved Cordelia in Buffy and the first few seasons of Angel, she was really funny but when her personality changed she just wasn't as funny and her character didn't hold as much intrest. I think Cordelia will be missed though coz she was a big part of the team at AI.
 
I'm not really all that sad to see her go. I mean yeah, if she was still the same Cordy off of BTVS or in seasons 1 & 2 of Angel, I would definitely miss her. I already miss that Cordy. But the Cordy that has been on the last couple of seasons of Angel I can really do without. She was not adding to the plot, so much as taking away from it. Now that her character is gone, we'll be able to see a lot more growth in Gunn, Fred, Wes, and Lorne. Not that Wesley hasn't grown alot, he has! (Look at season 3 of Buffy) But Cordelia was really overshadowing all of the other main characters except for Angel, because, well, he is the main character!

I do. I think it will be just like when Amy was turned into a rat. I think Cordelia will be talked about or visitied off-screen for the first couple episodes but after that, I think she will be *forgotten* until the actress comes back to the show.

Just keep reminding yourself that it was not the *real* Cordelia since Jasmine was controlling her from the inside.
 
Charisma Carpenter is like 33 now. On the WB she'd be playing a mom anyway. A hot young mom, but this is after all the WB. LOL.
 
I could really care less if she was there. I got tired of her character, I don't know, I guess I just think she really didn't add anything to the show, it was always like "lets go fight evil, but who's going to stay and watch Cordy?" It was just getting old, and even though she was getting on my nerves I hope they give her a good send off, like they just don't ever show her anymore, and don't explain why she isn't there.

Cordelia was my favorite Angel character up to last season. I seriously doubt we'll never see her again though. That would just be to weird, if they intended for it to be like that, I'm sure they would have killed her off completely.
 
Will anybody at AI remember Cordy besides Angel?? How are they going to explain her being in a coma if nobody remembers Connor, are they going to forget about Jasmine too?? I can see how they did the "nobody remembers but Angel" in the episode I Will Remember You with Buffy, but how are they going to explain away a whole season??
I miss the old Cordy, I have always liked her, up until last season when she got all possessed and weird, then I pretty much began to hate the character, even though it wasn't really her. I would like to see some closure on this, some how, some way. If we could get back the old Queen C I would welcome her back, but higher-being, all goody-goody Cordy I can do without.

I'm just happy Spike ain't dead, well he is, you all know what I mean. I'm glad to see him on Angel, I believe he will add the necessary tension that a show like this always needs.
