I agree that the Seasons premiere wasn´t that good but I loved the musical eppy and love Season Six so far because Spike comes up a lot 🙂
 
I'm getting bored of all the character development. They could have done so much more with this season but they are wasting it. I'm beginning to get really disappointed. I hope the entire season isn't going to be like this. 🙁
 
I have liked it so far - but there have been better seasons (2/3).
I loved the first eppys in S6 soooo much (roughly, up to and including 'Gone') but now there is just too many changes and we need to get maybe a few new writers!
Buffy has always prided itself on good acting and good stories. They defiently have the acting but the recently, the stories are weird and amateur!
I wish ASH had stayed - he was definetly Buffy's (the character AND the show) rock!
There is too much character development which is not done properly and Giles could have taken S6 somewhere completely different and better.

Despite all my ramblings, Buffy is THE best show EVER, i ::heart:: it, and all hail joss . . . *defeated by love of buffy, sigh* xxx
 
seems to have taken an age to get going and still may not.willows drug story was overbearing and very condescending. spike/buffy is kinda interesting.three nerds =annoying
 
Well i wont go on again - to see my ramblings look above! Lol, i still ::heart:: buffy more than any other programme though! Although some of its been kinda weird! But the one i just saw in the uk picked up the season again 😀
 
personally i think it sucks. there are only two episodes that i liked so far. the first episode where she is brought back alive, and the one where giles leaves again, and michelle branch is on it. besides that its boring because all buffy does is have sex with spike. it has turned into buffy the vampire doer instead of slayer
 
a very awkward series.doesn't quite seem to know where it wants to go.is this our price for buffy's ressurection?not easy solution
 
I agree its been kinda akward but i think it has seem some of the best ever episodes - eg, my fav ever, Once More, With Feeling. I agree it lacks a certain direction though, but from what i hear about the finale etc. it should all be really good and 'focussed', if you know what i mean.
But its still my favourite show - ALWAYS!

i think "normal again" did bring together alot of the emotional threads in this season.gave us more of an explanation for buffy's strange behaviour.i'm seeing s6 in a better light since it(still wanna slap xander!)

If anyone thought season 6 was bad (which i dont) then Normal Again would definetly have made them think again.
I dont see how it tied up a lot of emotional thread though?!
And a question: is that storyline carrying on till next week, do you know? Coz she hasnt taken the antecdote!

i meant in the way it virtually came out and said all these demons you're fighting they're not the big bd this season you are,buffy.it seemed to give a way for buffy to finally accept whats happened and deal with it.her desire for the sanitarium delusion to be true.is it that she has never come to terms with being the slayer.she still just wants to be normal(again!).i'm not explaining it very well,sorry.may try later...

I understand and i think your are right - she has to come to terms with her life again and the accpet what she has and be thankful for it - learn to live and enjoy herself - and BE HAPPY! 😀
I think spike may have hit on something when he said she liked being miserable! Lol

sometimes its easier to wallow in self pity rather than face life.i don't think she likes misery its just easier to deal with than real life

I so think its been different - there has been more character changes than outside influences, even Marti Noxon said that. So it depends on your view, but i liked it. Its definetly been darker.
 
i am not sure when season 6 is coming to my country. maybe october? which is kind of late... like duh... so i can't evaluate it right now.... 😀
 
Darker? It's been nothing short of pale. The build up of episodes from Bargaining to Once More... was good and Once More... was truly a classic but then everything went to hell after Tabula Rasa. What did they do when they were planning the season - say 'ok we need to put sex in as many episodes as possible because the show just isn't cheap enough'? The only semi-coherent episode since has been Normal Again. Season 6 is truly the worst season so far and a black cloud that will take a long time to go away.
