What do you think of Spike dying that way?

I dont like that Spike died (even though he was already dead), but I think it was pretty cool saving the world and all.

I thought it was fitting of him dying to save the world. It really showed how much he evolved since he first appeared.

HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(duh)

I hated the fact that he died. I do though, on the other hand LOVE that he died saving the world. Well, not saving the world. He just plumb saved it. The champion.

My hero.
But he shouldn't have had to experience such a horrible death. Burning was horrible.

But I'm glad he's back now!

Oh, yeah, and how could I forget: He finally lived up to his promise about destroying that town. Perfect way to go out.

Angel would have made a dramatic and romantic Darth-Vader-esq speech at the end. Spike hated that sort of thing, but it was all written in as subtext. You can almost make a speech out of what he didn't say, but he probably would have tried to come and haunt you for it, if you tried.

I really love that about him, and about the show. They didn't sell out the integrity of his character just to produce a cheap, cheasy, sentimental moment. And if anything, that made his death-scene that much more powerful.

I liked the way he died. The whole champion thing was really great and I liked the buffy and spike talk right before he died. Even though Buffy really doesn't love him, in my opinion, it was still great to hear her say it to him.

I think it was awesome...his story is finished. He finds out who he his, and what he's supposed to do. And it's amazing how sure, how confident he is. The who scene clearly explained who Spike is. exactly. What he was born to do.

I am very, very happy that Spike is back, but I think it kind of kills his story. He could have died after having a long, hard adventure. William the Bloody->Spike->Chipped Spike->Soulful Spike.
I felt a sense of completion after that episode. But that doesn't stop me from hanging of his every syllable on AtS.

"Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second, the *second*...that happens. You know I'll be there. I'll slip in. And have myself a real good day."
-Spike (Fool for Love)

It was a good death scene. As Kyach said, no cheesy sentimental speeches, sometimes word aren't needed. Spike is always great like that, it was so like him. Glad he's back though!

um...yeah...big thumbs down for spike's death scene...

why? because for seven years Buffy fought vampires/demons/evil spirits/hell gods etc, etc, etc; she died TWICE, almost died innumerable times, and was ripped out of heaven itself...and what happens in the end???

f@$king SPIKE (Marti Noxon's favorite little pet project) is made to be the hero...grrr....

my hate for his nuetered self knows no bounds...
