what do you think of this season so far?

So far, I think that this season has been okay, but I think that it's losing its ummpphh. I have been taping Buffy forever and re-watching all of the episodes, but this season has been a little lackluster for me. Does anyone else feel this way??😕
 
This season has a more darker and challenging theme, because the big bads are human (Troika, Amy, Rack), which pretty much goes against the slayer code for killing. Then again, Buffy HASN'T been the same after the spell, along with the whole Spike deal. It's up for grabs...
 
So far I think the season has been kind of slow. In particular I dont like Willow's magical "addiction" and the troika irritate me. While it is interesting to see Buffy battle some humans, they dont have half the charisma of say, Faith or Glory. Actually I thought that last season started out very slowly too, but by the end I thought it was the best season ever. So who knows what is to come?

there is so much going on this season, that Buffy seems overwhelmed at times. (Willow's problems, Dawn's problems, Spike, and Buffy's own depression) I hope they haven't thrown too many problems out there, everything has to be resolved at some point and I hope they don't try to take an easy way out. They've built it up, but where are the going? (By they I mean the writers)
 
I'm not keen on this season either, which I think means I'm going off the show. I've loved every season so far - even season 4!
But this season is just as Dawn would say - blah. There's nothing keeping me watching every week now, not an aspect of the show I am interested in. The characters just don't interest me🙁
 
Personally, I think it's turning into another brilliant season, maybe it's cuz I'm an old git, being 31, but I'm finding it really good how they're having to deal with all their life issues. 🙂🙂

Character development is spiffy and all, however we need something more to make a compelling season. IMO what we need is best defined by the statement "less talkie more stakey" We need a few more action-oriented episodes.
 
They are concentrating a lot on the emotional aspects, a lot more than previous seasons. I really do like this season, but I would like some more action!!
 
i think all the mini story lines will come together then joss will blow us away as usual...i mean buffy not human, willow evilish possible deaths!! what more could you want?
 
i think this has been a good season so far. a little darker than the rest but its still buffy 🙂 i kinda like how their dealing with more life-like situations that someday we all knew they were going to have to deal with
