I'm going to guess and say..."Angel". 🙂 Because that's their first kiss. I think that is when it started.

Totally started in Welcome to the Hellmouth...or The Harvest. Same damn thing. I remember I was watching Buffy in the bathtub at the age of 8 (why was I in the tub you ask? Because hygiene and Buffy are equally important) and The Harvest happened to be on. It was the first Buffy episode that I ever watched, and in that scene just before she goes into the crypt to find Jesse, Angel whispers, "Good luck." Oh yes. It was born right there.
