what ever happened to Beljoxa's Eye?

hey, just wondering

in ep 7.11 "showtime", Giles and Anya visited Beljoxa's Eye, which informed them that Buffy coming back to life weirdly is what caused the First to seize power. I seem to remember them cutting when Anya and Giles were still talking to the Eye, but in the transcript it doesn't mention that.

anyways, isn't it kind of odd that Giles and Anya haven't mentioned this all to Buffy? and does anyone think it may be related to Anya's abscence of late and Giles' non-controntational attitude?
 
Maybe they'll shrink it down and throw it in Xander's eye socket. 🙂

That would be creepy. Having your very own talking eyeball in your skull..

I dunno why they haven't mentioned it ... can you say plot-hole?
 
I'm not sure if it's bogus or not. I don't remember too much of that episode, or any previous episode for that matter. I wish I had taped them so I could rewatch them. This season especially has thrown a lot out there for us to absorb and tie together. I usually find that I missed something when I rewatch an episode. That scene could be just trying to give some explanation as to why The First decided to wage war now and not centuries earlier.
 
maybe they just said it couldnt help them an Anya and Giles kept the truth to them selfs... for now maybe?
