What Film's Are You Looking Forward To?

Van Helsing just sounds like a monster match... but for me that's greatness...

the league on the other side will rule beyond normal greatness, i mean dorian gray, invisible man and doctor jekyll in the same movie? thats somethin
 
League came out with this great original concept as a comic book. Mythological characters of literature band together in one storyline at the turn of the century. Hollywood announces they're going to make it into a movie. It gets great buzz.

Some exec says, "Hey, we can do the same thing, except we'll do it with Van Helsing, Dracula, Wolfman and Frankenstein's monster".

My money's on the original idea to produce greatness. The clone is usually degraded.

On the other hand Van Helsing does sound like it could be a lot of fun, if it's done right.

Van Helsing is a movie starring Hugh Jackman as the original Vampire Slayer, Abraham Van Helsing. The movie uses up the Universal Studios monsters; Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolf Man. All of which Van Helsing has to dispose of. It looks pretty dark and violent so expect at least a 15 cert, possibly an 18.
It has a release date of May 7th 2003 [US].
 
The Beast.... simple as this Freddy>Jason.... Freddy will win, Jason will die... actually i bet neither will win, but if the writers were fair, freddy would win
 
No way dude.
Look at it this way....

Freddy is a dream demon, his only powers are available in the dream world. I don't think there is much that Jason would be scared of, and I think whatever goes on inside Jason's twisted mind is more likely to scare the hell out of Freddy than anything else.
Also, Jason is pretty much indestuctable, so I dont think that Freddy's claw is gonna be much cop against Jason.
Jason is a monster, and could tear Freddy's scrawny body limb from limb in a matter of seconds if he really felt like it.
So, in conclusion, I can't see any way that Freddy could win this fight.
 
Jason has no mind.. his thoughts are "ooooh ahhhh ehhh kill kill kill blood blood blood ahhhh ARGGHHH", freddy is smart enough to find a way to kill jason...
 
Ive just seen The Eye, so I can't look forward to that (it was terrific, if you like your ghost stories really, really scary, funny and heart rending in that Buffy kind of way)! But I am looking forward to:

Whale Rider
28 Days After
Swimming Pool
Spy Kids 3
The Secret Lives of Dentists
American Splendor
 
I am on the edge of my seat to see Matrix Revolutions. Reloaded was inf***ingcredible!

Also, laugh if you want, but I know that I'll enjoy Legally Blonde2, and I am not ashamed to admit it.

Freddy vs Jason is about time, Im surprised it hasn't already been done, although I would rather see Freddy vs Michael, or Pinhead.

And of course, the sexiest slayer in Wrong Turn. Hope its good or Ill never be able to look at Eliza the same way again.
 
DancingDragon, I love you! Freddy vs Pinhead, that would be a movie...

and note, freddy vs jason is like one of those movies that take like a decade to get off the ground... there have been like three million scripts for it
