What happened to Jodast?

So what happened to Jodast? I haven't seen him in a long time, at first i thought maybe that's because my own activity has been bad but I don't see him on the who's online list anymore. He was a really great guy, does anyone know what happened? Did he say goodbye and I happened to miss it?

Yeah, he hasn't been around in a little while, sad to say. He checks in from time to time, but I guess he's just taking some time off right now. It's a shame, because he adds a lot to BB, and is one of the absolute best people here. Really awesome guy.

In fact, I'd propose we make this the official Jodast Appreciation Thread, in an effort to get him back here 🙂

Turns out the 'feeling out of sorts' I mentioned in the above post was severe depression. Gonna be away while I get my head together and undergo treatment. Hope to be back soon.

Holy cow! Thank you guys, it is really, truly, sincerely appreciated.

So an update...with quite a lot of sharing.

I have indeed been away because of a bout of severe depression. Whilst I know I have friends on here and people who I know would support me no matter what, I didn't feel that I would be able to contribute to the community in a way that would do myself or the rest of the amazing users on here justice.

That being said, I am undergoing treatment, both therapeutic and pharmaceutical and the results, particularly in the last month have been very positive indeed. I am not going to count my chickens and say that I am 'better' just yet, but I have missed BB and the friends I have made on here and feel that I can contribute once again without it being detrimental either to myself or you wonderful people.

Just wanted to thank everyone fir the warn welcome back. It's been immensely humbling and gratifying. There truly isn't a better community than thus one.
