Question What happened to the Freeze Ray and the Invisibility Gun?

The last appearance of the Freeze Ray was in episode "Smashed". But it malfunctioned and also froze Jonathan's hand, though it still successfully fired and froze the museum security guard.

As for the Invisibility Gun, I remember Buffy and Willow walking out with it in episode "Gone". I assume they returned that huge piece of diamond, which was needed for the Invisibility Gun to function.

Was there any mention or has anyone seen it on the background in an episode somewhere other than those two episodes?

Ummm... or did Willow collect those again for "studying", like she did Ted Buchanan, and probably April and the Buffybot.

Your thoughts?
 
Weapons like these I always thought Willow probably took and put away somewhere. You never know when the Scoobies might have needed them later on! 🙂
 
LOL! Yeah, but the invisibility gun needed that stolen diamond to work. Being heroes, they probably returned it to the museum. Otherwise, they wouldn't have money problems if they sold it. XD
 
The invisibility gun only needed the diamond for the trio to use it. I'm sure Willow would have absolutely no problem powering it with her own magic. On the other hand, it kills the people who become invisible, so it would be a very high risk stealth tool. As for using it on enemies: If it's going to kill them anyway, then there are easier ways to do that.
