Question What happened to the Hyperion and Angel Investigations when they moved into W&H?

Did Angel Investigations officially disband when they were absorbed in W&H? And then revive again after time was reversed in After the Fall?

And the Hyperion... did they just keep it there, locked up and dormant when they were in W&H? Who's even paying the rent on it? lol

Also, I really thought it would be put to good use like give it to Charles Gunn's former vampire hunting gang and Anne's shelter. You know, make it their home.
 
Hm, I can't help but wonder if Angel didn't keep it. Sentimental attachments and what nots... or perhaps as an insurance in case the W&H deal went bust. I have a hard time seeing him selling it at least.
 
I think Joss said somewhere that the plan, if there ever had been a Season 6 televised, was for Angel and his surviving crew to move back there, since the W&H building was destroyed, but I can't find the interview now.
 
Oh, but I meant while they were in W&H. Was it ever used for something while they were in W&H? Like maybe as their residence or something? I mean, why rent a room when there's free ones in the Hyperion.
 
I think it stood empty, to me it seemed like the gang got other apartments (Fred at least) and Wes already had one. I can't imagine Gunn alone staying at the hotel and Lorne was probably more than willing to spring for some kind of W&H sponsered home far more 'Lorne-y' than the Hyperion ;P
