This isn't about the Senior Partners. It was established in the "After The Fall" arc that they had pretty much decided that keeping any sort of formal contact with Angel's world wasn't worth the aggravation and bother of contending with him and his friends. This is about the law firm itself. Are they still in business? The LA branch was destroyed, but, there was the branch in Rome, and I believe that they mentioned Moscow and, possibly London and New York. Should either Buffy or Angel, or both, run into them or their influence at some point?

Maybe they are the power behind all of the "vampires: lonely tortured victims and Slayers: evil, fanatical murderers" movement in Season 9. Just imagine W&H manipulating the authorities arresting and bringing Buffy to trial, and Charles Gunn, Super Lawyer, being her attorney (I wish tha I could say that that was my idea, but it was used in the old "Incredible Hulk" TV series, when Matt Murdock {Daredevil} represented Bruce Banner)

Anyhow, what do you think happened to the Evil Law Firm, Inc?

I think that they still exist around the would and in other dimensions, as we saw they had books in Pylea. Whether we will see them in that way again though I'm not sure.

Wow WA, I really like that idea!
I hope W&H still exists. Because of the potential for the storyline you mentioned, and simply because the "evil law firm" is such a brilliant idea: taking advantage of the pure and more tangible evil in the world is exactly what a bunch of human beings would do given the opportunity. And not having W&H disappear is a way of saying that opportunists who cash in on the pain of others will always exist.

But I never really understood how the senior partners were connected to the rest of the firm. Because it was all so mystical--could the firm exist without them? Did all of the senior partners from every branch come to fight the Fang Gang or was that only the LA firm? Can there be senior partners at other branches or do they all need to have the same sort of mystical connection to be chosen? Maybe destroying the "white room" in LA did something to the ability for all branches to function? 😕

According to (semi-canonical) Spike miniseries by IDW, done apparently in cooperation with both DH and Joss, all of the Senior Partners have departed this realm as soon as they got a whiff of Twilight actually coming up. They tracked down and captured a (penis-shaped, no kidding) ship, carrying the remains of destroyed astral bug civilization, loaded onto it and fled. Undead Lilah Morgan was in charge of the operation and gained freedom from her contract after the ship was successfully appropriated. Of course, in process of SP's loading onto a ship and fleeing, that conveniently happened in Las Vegas, Spike managed to 'liberate' an emergency escape unit ( that looks like scrotum of the said penis-mother-ship ), load the entire remaining alive astral bugs crew into it, before they got massacred , and got himself elected as their new King. He then proceeded to chase the SP's into another dimension in his mini ship, hoping to 'shame and mock them' thus departing from this one before the events of Buffy S8. Spike returned to this dimension with his buddy-bugs later on, apparently gaining some info on the upcoming Twilight from his chase after the SP's main mother ship. All of these events were observed by Willow, who nevertheless kept her mouth shut and never said anything on screen through entire S8.

I am not kidding you. That was all in the mini series approved by JW. 😱

This seems a lot better than Season 8. *Remembers Buffy/Angel space-sex*
