After the end of season 6. There have been many questions and rumors flying around. This clearly will be the final series of Buffy as SMG has announced that she has quit. She has also said that she would not do another Buffy movier after the failure of the last one. (But she'll do Scooby Doo, opinions welcome). Baring all that in mind. I believe that there is a very realistic chance that Buffy will die in Season 7's finale. i'd like to know what you guys think. all rsponses welcome.

Purely because Joss has promised a shiney happy version of Buffy for next season then I don't think Buffy will bite the big one... far too depressing.

I can see a big crossover, and her retirement on the proviso that Faith is released from prison (hence the crossover). A big battle is looming (as always) so the LA gang are hell mouth bound with ex-offender and all round rehabilitated good girl Faith. They are of course victorious, everything ends well, Faith regains her position as slayer and Buffy goes off to live on a farm and raise chickens and only stakes vampires who annoy her, and stops chasing after them.

OK, I have no idea what is going to happen, though I think SMG is right not to do a film version of Buffy. Also, the finale can't tie all loose ends as Angel will still carry on after that, so I'm thinking the whole shanshu thing won't come to pass in a Buffy episode, even though that would be a humdinger of a crossover for buffy fans, it would be doing Angel the series a huge disservice.

The Spike issue for next series is a stumper for me. If he has a soul he should need a hood couiple of decades to get over the murder and mayhem he inflicted (like Angel did), and if he is OK with it, then he is a very bad man IMO! And if he doesn't feel that pain then surely Buffy could never love him... so either way he is up the proverbial without a paddle.

I guess we just have to wait for Joss.😀

I liked the idea of Buffy the Chicken Farmer - as long as pies are not involved.

Mrs Tweedy - "Chickens go in, pies come out."
Mr Tweedy - "What sort of pies?"
Chicken Run - one of my little boy's faves

Whoah! Slow down there. Sarah hasn't yet announced that this will be her last season of Buffy. Her contract expires after season 7 and it is yet to be determined whether she will renew the contract or not. I prefer to look on the bright side, cross my fingers, and hope that this won't be her last season. 😀

lol, i agree with your little boy, that movie rocks!

Yea - he has good taste in movies for a 4 year old. Not influenced by me in the slightest😉 .

I cry for love and I die for peace

In the future I belive a stunning revolation will occure.

Willow brought buffy back and explained it as "She didn't die of natural causes, so we can bring her back" What is stopping her from bringing the love of her life back, the only one who ever made her whole? Sure you could say because she would be afraid of bringing her back from a better place where she is whole, but what about the way she resolved buffies by taking away her memories of heavan. Or Maybe Willow will do anything for Tara including suicide (I doubt it). Maybe Oz will come back, he was definately a good character. Willows character need a definate "LARGE" ending because she was such a major character.

Buffy is already entranced in Spike, an uncontroleable love? He turned human for her... he didn't do that for you but you know you would do anything for him. I believe they will love again!

None of the scoobies would ever let faith back into their circle... but she may spread words of "Faith" to everyone and maybe the clue that if Dawn is made of buffy then she must also have some slayer in her... Maybe thats why when Buffy died from the Hell God Glory another slayer didn't show up... Maybe Dawn will replace Buffy so that buffy can have her normal life with Spike. But would she let her sister have the same life as her?

Anya will definately come back to Xander. It's a match made in heavan. The wedding may "Actually" happen which could the closure for the two character which would help to end the series.

Giles could become the watcher of Dawn, or possible even Anya. Or maybe Giles is sent to the aide of another slayer who is comming of age?

What ever happened to that extremely powerful witch that Willow upset? The one that used to be a mouse... they never completed her character. What if she comes back and brings out the magic in willow again? What if she steals Willows magic? What if it killed willow? That could be a definately unhappy ending to willow, but an ending none the less.

It can't have another giant "bad guy" because how do you top a God? What if Glory some how didn't die? That could put a damper on the scoobies... I mean they just come to a conclusion that when he died she died...

Love Always!

Okay, first of all, I like Dawn as a charecter, and I think Michelle is an outstanding actress, and hopefully the writers don't screw with her charecter like they did in season 6. Supposedly we are supposed to see a much different Dawn next season, and I hope to god thats true. Granted every person on the show was screwed up in one way or another, but hopefully Buffy will stop treating Dawn like she's 4. Not sure how I feel about Dawn becoming a Slayer, since that would involve killing Faith, but if ED won't come back, they could always say she got killed in prison and then make Dawn a Slayer, since that can't happen until Faith buys the farm. But not sure if I could ever see her as a Slayer, hopefully they can come up with something different for Dawn as far as power goes. Dawn is still the Key, and apparently next season we find out more about what that means since both Buffy and Dawn find out more about their respective destinies as the Slayer and The Key.

I think that a Buffy episode without Sarah in would be the END OF THE WORLD! I Sarah quit then if Joss carried the show on I wouldn't watch it as much... I mean that's what it's all about isn't it.

Look. I hate Dawn all to gether and I would di eif she was the slayer. Its not nice to say tha tFaith should die in prison that is just plain stupid! Tara needs to come back. Now look. Dawn would never be the slayer for great reasons and I would tell you but I can't.

Yeah, because the only real reason you could list would be because you don't like her. Thats real logical as a reason?

No, I dont like her.. at all... cuz shes a whiney little kid. Anyway. I like the actress. Look she might not even be.. Nevermind.. I will post it in the SPOILER SECTION!

How about a Faith TV series or better yet a Riley Finn tv show? I mean what is really do down there in South America? It could be a lot like Angel except with Angel...

Well, first of all, Willow can't bring Tara back. Buffy died from a hell-god, and just like Osiris said, Tara was killed by a man (Which appearently means natural causes). Just watch the episode after Tara dies, Osiris appears and denys Tara new life.

Second, no new slayer appeared when Buffy died, because Buffy isn't The Slayer. Faith is The Slayer, and a new one won't appear until she dies.

My personal opinon, Willow will take over the show. She will be tortured by her actions, and seek redemption (Yes, just like Angel.), and there may be a possible Faith thing too... But I'd really rather see Faith on Angel.

The Dawn thing won't come to pass, too many fans hate her, and think shes whiney. I like her, and I don't blame her for being whiney, after all, she was missing out on all the action...

And, as much as I'd like a Buffy movie done well, the series does a much better job with long lasting story arcs, and I'd rather have one of those to end the Buffy legacy.
