Ok, ill make a few more points before im going to bow out of this thread before people become more heated and misinterpret my posts even more.
I am all for female rights. Its ABSOLUTELY atrocious that in our modern age, that women are subjected to some of the things they are (especially in a corporate environment). But that was never the point I was making, and in standing up for the right for men to be men but the point has (as I assumed it would be) been lost.
The fact that a couple hundred other male 'climbers' are better than the top female climber is a catagorical fact. Sorry. If you'd like to live in a world where this isnt a fact, create your own imaginary world on paper. Its no use getting emotional and making sarcastic responses, its the very same problem that got us into this mess.
I WANT women to be equal. But were talking about a topic that discusses heroism..this often (not always) involves strength which yields more men than women with women being the outliers. It takes a lot of disipline Crazy Flakes to have a discussion like this without getting emotional, bake as many pies as you like but when your dealing with someone like me who daily tries daily to prevent discrimination, you'll have no sympathy from me. You take my words and run with them in your mind.
The male will always be the superior fit for the 'superhero' with the female as the outlier, though obviously just as compelling a superhero. My point is not that women shouldnt be 'heroes' but that them being less common than the 'male' hero is not only common but obvious.

I am done. You are now free (even more) to run with my comments like the wind and misinterpret my worldview as it pertains to equality as much as you damn well please.
