Buffy and Angel are all about life lessons and the deeper meaning. So I was just wondering what life lessons you have learned from Buffy and Angel? Have the shows ever helped you out through hard times in your life? And finally have you ever related your problems to one character's in particular?

I know, this sounds mega cheesy, but I actually have learned a lot from Anya, the main being that sometimes you need to say what needs to be said, no matter who gets hurt; truth hurts and thats one of those life things.

From Buffy herself, Ive learned that life sucks basically, but you cant give up, you've gotta stick to it.

From Angel, the show, Ive learned you cant trust everyone, and as back-stabby as that sounds, its very true.

With Willow, it was great with her addiction, and the metaphor for drugs, I mean, Ive never tried drugs, and never will...or I dont plan to, but at least I know, that if for some reason I do, you can get out of it, all it takes is patience.

If it wasnt for Buffy the show, I would've killed myself by now, watching the show, and everything that all the characters went through has made me a stronger person, and Ive learned to appreciate things better...
Im so happy with everything that Buffy, as a show, has done, and I wouldnt change a thing!

basically ive learned that there is lways something to live and fight for:family..friends..and love

I've learned some kick-butt moves for if I were to get attacked by a bumpidy vamp!

Okay I've learned that it helps to tell your friends if you are having a problem. They can help. I also learned that nerds or atleast not-so-popular people can be great friends and can make you laugh so hard you spit milk out your nose. That's about the it.

Oh and from Angel I learned that even 240 year olds can be yummy looking.. (im refuring to Angel)

The refference was obvious🙂 I've also learned that people can change like Willow or Cordy...

Both shows have taught me that life IS worth living and that the world is a beautiful place. You've gotta be there to see it - how can you see it if your dead?

Some people say i have a personality disorder and i'm a cross between Buffy and Anya. I think thats a good thing, telling the truth can hurt sometimes but it's good, it helps you face up to things and realise things too. Being like Buffy means i am dependable in a crisis and i take charge - i've proved that a lot. I relate to Buffy and Willow a lot more though. Both characters have gone through so much pain yet they deal with it the best they can and somehow get through it.

The show got me into Martial Arts too and i think the show is a blessing because in influences people to do things... Good things. Things that may help you in life later on, whether it's a life or death situation or if your not wearing the latest fashion - We can't always be a Cordelia and Harmony.

The show has also taugh me that people deserve a second chance no matter what they've done. And that the love of friends and family can get you through things... even if you think your alone, your not.

And all this comes from a 13 year old girl...

- Save yourself some time in the future. Kill a nerd today.

- Vampires and demons are hard to kill unless you've used up the last commercial break.

- Being 'Touched by An Angel' isn't quite as self-affirming as Della Reese would have you believe.

- Fire bad. Tree pretty.

- The year you were born in doesn't necessarily define your age.

- All monkeys are french.

- Never kill a boy on the first date.

- As misleading as it is, Vulkans are in no way associated with vulcanologists.

- Martha Stewart is not a demon, she's just a witch.

- Never turn yourself into a rat unless you're absolutely positive there's someone who can turn you back.

- You wear the cheese. It does not wear you.

- No matter how much you plan your birthday party something will always go wrong.

- All of your close friends, will turn evil sometime during their life.

- Bunnies Are Evil.

- All of your dates are bound to be evil In someway.

- Beer is very bad and also foamy.

- To have onion blossom, you soak it in ice water for an hour so it holds its shape. Then you deep-fry it root-side up for about 5 minutes. (Thank you, Spike)

- When you loose your voice, DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR!!

- At Halloween, always dress up in something you actually *want* to be.

- Being a principal, more often than not, will get you eaten.

- B-i-t-c-h is in fact pronounced "bitca"

- Its best to sew your name and a brief bio into your clothing.

I've actually learned some pretty profound things... But I just don't have the patience to sit and write them all out...

that i am truely sad pathetic and have no life - i have spent 7 plus years watching a tv show and sharing with the tv what i should have shared with friends and lovers; getting drunk, getting high, sex, death, loyalty, magic, food, pubs, clubs, parental problems, friend problems, sharing my time between my b/f (honestly he is real) with my firends and family (honestly they are real)!! etc etc etc lets not forget balling my eyes out for an entire weekend after Doyle passed over....it is real you know...

- Sometimes the good guys don't always win.
- Red sheets=death.
- Evil is real, and tangible, and always there. No matter what.
- Never kill the lesbian.
- Death is spontaneous. It can happen any moment, any time. To anybody.

There's more, but...no.
