What I love about this franchise and this forum.

I just come to realization about how amazing the Buffyverse franchise is, and how great this forum is. I mean I love the fact that after a decade of both shows's cancelation, we still have debates on for example:

Willow's abuse of magick in Season 6 and other things. That just proves how strong the show and this fan base is in 2014.

Yeah, it really is a great franchise and a neat fan base. I'm constantly surprised at the discussions and debates that we are still having after all this time, it's also neat that we frequently see people bringing up new arguments and perspectives.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I will say that I am thankful for being apart of this forum and such an amazing fan base. Buffy is such a great show and the fact that there are so many fans and such great topics to discuss proves that. Every show has its fans sure, but only the great shows stick around for generations.

There's something about this show that just has such a personal touch, and it steers clear of clichés, and it doesn't just give people what they want to see. It gives people what the verse demands in order to continue on and stay fresh. Nowhere does it become merely formulaic or mere eye candy or merely shocking for shocking's sake, it always has this edge to it that keeps it gripping. And those kind of factors have attracted very knowledgeable fans who appreciate just how unique the show is. As much as I am thankful for the Buffy show, am I also thankful for the people on the Buffy boards.
