What If Angel Never Left?

What do you think would have happened if Angel never left Sunnydale? What would he have affected? Would he and Buffy be married with kids by season 7? Would he have died? Would he have gone evil again? Woul Spike have ever returned? Just post what you think would have happened.
 
well they wouldnt be married with kids, thats for sure. I thinmk he probably wouldve gone evil during Season6 and Angelus would have a chip in his head and the same thing would probably happen with Spuffy in Season6 with all of the sex.

Spike probably wouldve made some guest appearnces but not become a regular I think.

Buffy would probably be living in the mansion with Angel during Season4 or she wouldve decided to move into the dorms and the same thing would happen with Kathy and everything, Riley would probably be brought in to cause some tension between Angel and Buffy.

But if Buffy and Angel are still broken up during Season4 Buffy would try to move on a little and like above, here comes Riley and Angel would be all jelous. To make things more intresting, they couldve always brought in Wolferman & Hart to SunnyDale and they could bring back Darla and that would make Buffy all jelous and the same thing happens with Darla and Angel somehow and in like Season5 or something Buffy and Angel are back together agian or something then Darla comes back all pregnant and it would raise MAJOR tension between Buffy and Angel, arguments, and the whole 9 yards.

By Season7 who knows Angel and Cordy couldve gotten together.

We probably wouldve found out how Dawn had affected everyones lives when she was inserted to their lives.

The show may have gone on for another year.
 
I think they would've never called upon the First Slayer. They could've dealed with Oz's werewolf thing better, because Angel could've helpen Oz. Maybe resulting into Willow never turning gay. Riley would've have stood a chance. Neither would Adam. Glory would've gotten her ass kicked all the time. Darth Rosenberg wouldn't have arisen. Spike wouldn't have gotten his soul. The First wouldn't have tried what ever it was trying out for.
 
I think they still wouldve called upon the entity of The Slayer, Willow still wouldve become gay because Seth wanted to leave the show. Since Buffy and ANgel arent together 24/7 Glory would still be the same, and sine Spike couldnt really hold his own against Glory neither could Angel. Darth Rosenberg wouldve still arisen if Tara had got killed because she was suppose to arrise in S5 anyway and Angel being there wouldnt have affected Taras being their or not espically since she was killed during the day.

The First would still have tried to do the same thing becuase you can tell he was going to use Angel for his plan since Angel was used in S3 Amends, The First wouldve tried to turn Angel insane and into a killer in S7. Spike was only used because he had a soul, and you could tell he was basically subing Spike for Angel.
 
I think we wouldn't have seen Spike any more,Buffy'd have gottrn together with Angel after a few 'what-should-I-do??' eps.We probably would have seen Evil Willow in s5 as it was originally planned and before that she might have found a way to turn Angel human without loosing his vamp strengh...
 
I dont think Joss would go there, that soon atleast, he would keep Angel a vampire for as long as he could and he definatly would not make Willow find some sorta spell to turn him human. It would turn lame IMO
 
The show would've been a lot more boring. I don't think Buffy would have evolved as much as a character if he had stayed. And of course there would be no AtS 🙁
 
Well I dont think she wouldve been as bitchy but she wouldve evolved somewhat espically in Season5 since she became a big sister.

And we could still have AtS, after the show ended Angel couldve gotten his spin-off, it wouldve been a lot different but we would have a spin-off.
 
Dawn was a replacement for Angel, so would they of bought her in if Angel sticked around???
 
Dawn was close person to Buffy just like Angel..i think it was also discussed in some other thread.Spike was there just to spice things up..

You saying that if he never left then Angel would be the key? You just have to look at Spike in season 7 and he screams Angel replacement.
 
What Ana is referring to is that Joss wanted for Buffy to have as intense a relationship as she did with Angel, but not a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, so Joss brought Dawn in as Buffy's love interest in S5. If you want a quote from Joss, No Angel, I can get it for you. I don't think Spike is Angel's replacement because first of all, Joss wasn't aiming for that after Angel left. Spike doesn't have the same ambitions after he got his soul, nor could Buffy *truly* love him, IMO.

Angel and Bufffy are doomed basically until Angel becomes human, so I don't thinki they would've even stayed together much longer...
 
If Angel never would have left we would never have gotten Angel the series, Spuffy wouldn't have ever happened...I think btvs would be better if angel had stayed, IMO
