What if Buffy was ever turned?

So I was thinking about if a vampire ever turned a slayer. Would the slayer then become an ultra powerful/strong vampire and heal super fast, etc? Or would that not carry through because technically the slayer blood has been drained?

Some thoughts?
Has anyone else ever considered this happening?
 
I Was Thinking The Same Thing. Maybe If A Slayer was Ever Turned They Were Just Regular Vamps 'Cause Like What You Said It Could Be That Since Their Slayer Blood Was Drained Then So Are Their Slayer Powers. Its Like What Spike Says In s5 Its Always Blood So IMO i Think They Might Just Be Regular Vamps.
But I Was Thinking Their Had To Be Some Big Bad Who Would Want to Turn A Slayer Right? So Why Didn't We Ever See or Hear About It Ever Happening ?
 
I always thought it would have been interesting to have a vamp show up who had been a Slayer in their life. I mean it had to have happened at some point, for example the slayer that Spike killed during the boxer rebellion, he could easily have sired her. So I think it would be interesting to have that kind of story in an ep.
 
I've always wondered why during the history of Slayers and vampires, why a Slayer is almost never gets turned. Today with all the Slayers, the vampires can build an army of Slayer vampires. Maybe when a person, once turned, they also lose their brains. I know there are smart vampires out there, but not using guns, for example, is a prove for them being pretty stupid. Just a theory...
 
I think a vampire who had been a slayer in a previous life would be extra powerful. It seems like the most vicious vamps (Willow, Angelus, Druisilla, Spike) were particularly noble and good in their previous lives (okay maybe not Liam but his soul is one and the same with Angel so...). Darla is the only particularly dangerous vamp I can think of who wasn't a particularly "noble" person and we don't really know about the Master's previous life. In short, the more capacity the individual has for good, the more they have for evil.
 
I always thought that we never heard of Slayers being sired because they'd be super strong, so no vampire ever turned a Slayer. Like it was an unspoken agreement. Why would a vampire ever want to turn a Slayer anyhow? (No talk of Angel and that whole thing, ok? Had he really wanted to turn her, he could have. But she wouldn't have had a soul.) Aren't they like, mortal enemies? Why have her join you?
 
Yeah but what I don't get, like was mentioned several times above, is if she WOULD be super powerful, why wouldn't they change a slayer? The bigger the evil, the better for them right? Unless of course, again, that wouldn't happen (being really powerful, I mean).

Although, I DID forget what [MENTION=10608]Firefly[/MENTION] mentioned about the slayer being a demon too. I didn't think about that so it WOULD make sense that the Slayer-Vamp wouldn't be powerful because it probably would be one or the other.

Regardless of the series lead being:
A/ Buffy, who is a slayer of vampires.
Or
B/ Buffy who is a vampire, a slayer of those who are not dead.
The title of the show would be the same for both,
Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
(So, maybe Buffy is a vampire who hasn't made herself known yet. Would that explain why Angel and Spike were drawn to being good?)
 
Having given this some thought, it's never really been explored in the Whedonverse's internal logic but I'd suggest that it would need a vampire in the Master/Angelus/Spike league to physically defeat the Slayer in the first place and even if the intent was to create a vampire with Slayer powers, nobody knows what would happen. It's possible that having a vampire demon cohabiting with their Slayerness would drive a turned Slayer insane-or equally, that the fact of being turned would take the Slayer close enough to physical death for the next Slayer to be called, in which case the powers of the Slayer might pass out of them.
 
This has been discussed before on the boards, and I have always been a particularly big fan of this notion. I loved the glimpse we got of vampire Buffy in "Nightmares" in Season 1, and wish we would have seen an evil vampire Buffy in an alternate universe somewhere... I always thought it would have been really cool to see an alternate reality where Faith was the "main" Slayer and Buffy had been turned...
I think Buffy would be extra powerful as a vampire, having had been a Slayer in her human life and had extra strength anyway. She would definitely be tough to kill.
