What if Faith was called to Sunnydale and Buffy died in "Prophecy Girl"?

What if they had continued the show but called it "Faith the Vampire Slayer" and they had made a season 2 of "Buffy" but now called "Faith".

Ok, what if Buffy was killed by The Master in Prophecy Girl and Angel/Xander didn't make it in time to revive her.

Or what if Buffy was NEVER called to Sunnydale, Angel never got his soul; was still Angeleus and in love with Darla.

And they both killed Willow and Xander turned them into Vamps. Then The Master wanted Will and Xand as his pets and wanted Angeleus and Darla gone.

Then Faith comes into the picture to try and save Sunnydale with her watcher; Wesley or Kendra's watcher (if Kendra never existed)

what ya think of the idea? sorry it's all over the place I was trying to get somewhere with it lol

Well if Buffy was never called to Sunnydale I don't think Willow or Xander would ever have been made aware of the whole demon/vampire situation. I also think the Faith character was only an initial success because of the contrast between her and Buffy. Faith wasnt ready to be the lead until after her transformation in Angel and prison and stuff. idk thats my theory anyways.

If the Master killed Buffy, then I think Faith would have died just as easily as soon as she came to town.

You have way too many "what ifs" in one thread. My head is swimming.

If Buffy had gotten killed, the show wouldn't have been the same show at all. In that case, I don't even know if I would have cared enough to keep watching.

Since it was Kendra, not Faith, who was called when Buffy died, we're going to have to kill her off before Faith ever comes into the picture. And whichever new Slayer was called, there is no assurance that she would replace Buffy at the hellmouth. It has existed there apparently for centuries, or at least before the founding of Sunnydale, and I got the distinct impression that Buffy was the first Slayer to ever be there. From what we've seen in various places,each Slayer has basically her own territory to patrol.

So many what-ifs... I'm drowning...

I don't quite think that it would've worked around there -- now, if they'd kept Buffy dead after Season 5, I could see that working, but not this early.
