Spoiler! What if It never happened ?

Hey guys,
I Would just like to know what you would think about this, What if the First hadnt came, and Sunnydale hadnt been destroyed,and the potentials hadnt been called; how do you think everything would have turned out and what do you think would have happened instead?
Spuffy?
Xanya?
Willow?
Buffy?
Spike?
Anya?
Xander?
Etc etc?

Buffy would focus on being there for her sister Dawn who's going to a version of the same high school that terorrized her with monsters for three years. Buffy would continue to train her to defend herself while being a mother hen about her safety.

Maybe Dawn forms her own Scooby Gang in the new Sunnydale High which could lead to some interesting interactions between members of the new Scooby Gang and members of the old Scooby Gang.

Spike returns to Sunnydale with a soul but less crazy since the First is no longer in the picture. Buffy tries to deal with Spike's return and the implications of him having a soul. Spike moves back to his crypt and attempts to fix the mess he made last season.

Willow would have spent more time in England healing and would have returned to Sunnydale a bit later than she did to reunite with her friends and face the consequences of her actions as Dark Willow.

Giles would call up Buffy and the others from time to time to see how things are in Sunnydale and how Willow is fairing but eventually he would come to town in person.

Xander and Anya would still have their post-breakup difficulties for a time. The events of Selfless would have still happened. There would have been more of a focus on Anya post-Vengeance Demon trying to figure out her individual identity after that episode with the Potential Slayers not in the story of Season Seven. This also means that Willow doesn't hook up with Kennedy.

Maybe Xander and Anya get back together by the end of the series.

Principal Woods acts as Buffy's ally in her fight aganist evil after she finds out about him being the son of a Slayer and possessing some monster-fighting skills. Woods and Buffy teach each other some moves and know-how in the Slayer world. However, Woods locks horns with Spike after he finds out that he is the one who killed his mother. With the threat of the First not there to make him think of the big picture instead of a personal grudge, Woods becomes obsessed with making Spike suffer for what he did. Maybe he becomes the season's Big Bad in the process and starts manipulating Buffy into seeing things his way to get Spike what he deserves. I can see the makings of a Buffy-Spike-Woods romantic triangle here.

Neither Faith or Angel come back to Sunnydale since there is no need to help her in any way aganist the First.

Sunnydale remains intact by the end of the series. With no need to make the Potentials active, Buffy remains the true Slayer.

Spuffy: Might have happened but their bond wouldn't nearly be as strong as it was at the end. Unless she lost everyone like in S7, then she would probably. They would have to work things out over a longer period of time.

Xanya: It would probably stay the same as it was. It would just take longer before they would probably get back together. If Anya didn't die in S7 then I think they would have gotten back together.

Willow: Spends a lot more time in England. Eventually she would come back and reintegrate into the Scooby gang again.

Buffy: Live a relatively normal life unless there was a big bad. Nice job as an advisor, slaying the usual vamps and demons. She would probably keep training Dawn as well.

Spike: Still goes crazy, but not as much. He would be devoted to Buffy although it would take longer to repair that relationship. Probably would go on patrols himself and help when needed.

Anya: Would probably remain a fringe Scooby after she turned human again.

Xander: Continue his work in construction and trying to repair his friendship with Anya.

Dawn: Continue to be trained by Buffy. Continues to go to school and gets more mature.

Faith stays with Angel. Angel uses Wolfram and Hart to exonerate her. Not sure if Faith could handle Angel sending Lorne to kill Lindsey. That would certainly be an interesting dynamic in the end. Although Spike definitely helped Illyria gain some stability during after the fall so something might happen with that dynamic.

This may not all be logical, but this is how I would like to see season 7 played out without all the First Evil and Potential stuff happening. (Just for fun obv I would not actually change S7, it's perfect the way it is)

Spuffy: Get back together mid-season.

Xanya: Have sexual tension the entire season, occasionally having sex but never getting back together because Anya can't fully trust Xander anymore and Xander can't commit.

Willow: Gets back to being old goofy Willow that I liked best from seasons 1-3.

Buffy: Finally admits that she truly loves Spike and let's him in her life with no regrets or hesitations.

Spike: Just happy. A happy Spike is what I like best, and with Buffys newfound love for him, nothing can bring him down.

Anya: She just hangs around and provides comic relief, kind of stuck with the question "What should I do now?"

Xander: Confused about returning feelings for Buffy getting in the way of him being able to give Anya exactly what she needs.

Dawn: Gets a boyfriend and his name is Andrew 🙂 Yes, Andrew Wells.

Giles: Accepts Buffy for loving Spike and doesn't judge her anymore for their relationship.

Honestly, I would have love to have seen Xander/Buffy. I think I read somewhere that Nicholas Brandon and SMG told Joss they thought Bander would be a good idea and natural, but Joss said no.

On the other hand, Joss said no to Sarah as well when she suggested hooking Buffy and Spike up. So who knows. I'm not for Bander though.
