OK basically what if Spike was there when Dark Willow was around...i think it would have been awesome!! I just keep imagining this awesome fight between Dark Willow and Buffy/Spike/Giles...it would be awesome!!

What do you think???

Buffy was going to make Spike babysit Dawn while she handles Dark Willow with Xander and Anya. But knowing both Spike and Dawn, they won't be sitting around and doing nothing.

Wouldn't Spike have probably of told Clem to watch dawn though..so he could help Buffy.

Clem was only their because Spike asked him to watch his crypt while he was gone.
I would have loved to see that. Spike trying to fight off Evil Willow. I think if Buffy & Spike worked together they actually might have had more of an effect on here then just Buffy alone. Dark Willow's attention would have been in two places rather than one.

Though I kind of liked seeing just Buffy & Willow fight.

It would have been interesting, but Spike wouldn't have been able to do anything. She was evil, but she was still human and he still had a chip.

I forgot about the chip!
If the three of them could have hit Dark Willow in a coordinated attack, yeah, it would have been impressive, but unfortunately it would have been over too quickly to have much in the way of dramatic content. I have always thought about the same thing with Caleb in Season 7. If Buffy, Spike, and Faith could have worked together to keep Caleb completely occupied and off balance, giving Willow enough time to turn him into a rat, and then they could have tossed him into a box with Miss Kitty Fantastico Jr, then they could have stood back and watch nature take its course. Unfortunately, that would have pretty much left the rest of the season with nothing to do but have Buffy and Spike make out in the cellar while Xander and Anya make out in the kitchen and Giles, Wood, and Andrew play D&D in the living room. (Hmmmmm...That might have been a pretty good final season)

Anyhow, back to the original question. I'm not sure that Buffy would have thrown all of that power at Willow at one time, regardless of how evil she had become. Spike nailed it pretty well when he said, "The Slayer fights alone." Teamwork just isn't the first thing that pops into Buffy's head when facing the current Big Bad. Sure, she'll take help from the others eventually. but initially, she's as impulsive and almost as reckless as Faith ever was.

I like your re-imagined seventh season!

I love that season 7. Spuffy make-outage is definatley a pro ;)
This in response to the reputation comment Harm's Way left....if we were being really technical Clem wasn't there for that...he came over with hotwings to watch a nightrider marathon on Spikes tv.

Or Spike would have played the hero and tried to take on Willow on his own, to save Buffy from both the pain and the risk of handling the situation. Then Willow would have dusted Spike and season 7 would have looked way different.

Well, in that scenario, Willow could have been the one tortured by the First Evil for what she had attempted the year before, and Wood and Giles would have plotted to kill Andrew for Buffy's own good, because he was beginning to convince her that "The Matrix" was real, First Evil was the one one using the human race as a power source, and Caleb was the antivirus agent sent to wipe out the Prophesied One (Buffy) and her allies (the Potentials),

When Willow and the rest kicked Buffy out of her own home, Faith could have shown up, kicked the crap out of Willow and Xander, went off to find Buffy, and been the one to deliver the "You're The One" Speech, after which, they...

Then, in the end, when Angel shows up with the amulet, Buffy brushes him off, goes back home, and gives the amulet to Andrew, because he's the only one who knows about the First Evil/Matrix connection, then she goes downstairs to the basement, where she and Faith...

Then Season 5 of Angel would have been about Andrew trying to convince Angel that Wolfram & Hart was the one using the human race to power its computer and Adam was really an antivirus. Then, when Andrew becomes corporeal, he grabs Xander, who has been working this season as Angel's Executive Assistant, and they run off to find a vacant office, where they...

Well, you're right, both Season 7 AND Angel's Season 5 would have "looked way different."

(Then in Season 8 in the "Wolves At The Gate" arc, Willow could have busted into Buffy's room to find her in bed with a resurrected Spike. All's well that ends well)

I kinda can hear him in my head:

Spike "Red's gone wacko. If I were you, I'd run run run as fast as I could."

Buffy "Well you're not me!"

Spike "Bloody right I aren't. I've only been dead once"

also wasn't it kind of sunny out during the dark willow fight? i don't think spike would of lasted long but would of left the line open "something smells like backen" i could see dark willow saying it
