What if you were in Hush?

I would be annoyed just because I wouldn't be able to communicate efficiently, but then I would probably just lock my doors, go on the computer, watch a movie, and play with my kids and dog.

(Whoa, light bulb - could animals still make noise?! Hmmm...)
 
I think I would have been ok as long as I still had the internet.
 
Well, I normally don't talk that much either, so I wouldn't be that bothered. But I think that I would carry around a whiteboard to communicate with.

I would be the guy selling dry erase boards. I would like to think that I would be that crafty. I would definitely have a notebook or dry erase board with me, writing what I want to say.
 
Okay... is anybody else thinking of Pinkie Pie in the end of Bridle Gossip right now? Or, through the whole episode?

I'd be going crazy because I'd never be able to go an entire day without speaking! Talking is like, my life! It's seriously one of my hobbies!
 
If I hadn't done it already, I'd be the one packing my bags and saying, "I'm getting the hell out of this place!" Well, I'd be thinking it and not saying it, because I'd have no voice. 🙂

It's pretty amazing that people continued living in Sunnydale. You'd think there would've been an Exodus outta there. Course, you'd think that when Jessica Fletcher said she was coming to visit that people would've said, "Uh, sorry, we're busy..." but they never did.

TV people aren't too smart.
 
I'd want to be in the scene where Olivia sees one of the Gentlemen out of Giles' apartment window. I think that's the creepiest scene in the ep. It would be kinda cool to experience it cuz I like creepy things but then again, I probably wouldn't know what to do with myself. I'd be terrified.
 
I don't talk that much during the day outside of answering the occasional phone call so I'd probably be ok, but I would still want a mini whiteboard or notepad handy for communicating in emergencies.
 
I think, therefore I am. Once I have my thoughts and a means of expressing them, I'd be fine. Writing, text messages and the internet ensure that true silence would not be a threat.

However, I would miss conversation. I can go days without saying more than a handful of words, but I really do enjoy banter and the rhythms of conversation. So if the hush lasted a very long time, I think I might start having some frustration issues.
 
I talk SO much, I would be completely lost without my voice. I'd be like Ariel in "The Little Mermaid", trying to play charades with everyone.
 
I'm a very talkative, outspoken individual so for me to be speechless for an entire day would be very difficult for me. However, If I could get one of the dry-eraser boards that Buffy and Willow obtained then it wouldn't be as terrible. Plus, Think about it..You'd have to rely on your senses and emotions. Showing someone how you feel is a lot more meaningful than words. Speech is a luxury that should never be taken for granted.

As far as the whole Gentlemen scenario goes, I would be petrified. Those guys scare the crap out of me on the TV. Can you imagine running from someone who wants to cut your heart out in real life? I'd probably lose my voice from screaming so much if they didn't take all the voices from the community before the murders.
 
I'd be super confused at first, but would eventually just shake it off and use a whiteboard or paper to express myself. I'd just hang out at home maybe do some writing... It'd actually be kind of fun, minus The Gentlemen.
 
I think at first I'd panic, naturally but once I knew I wasn't alone or dying, I think I'd probably be one of the more upbeat people, It would probably be a bit of fun for the day, trying to communicate in sign language etc lol Funny lol

I love silence. I'd love for one day, for no one to be able to talk, (not because the gentlemen were about, ripping out people's hearts and the like) but because I just think we'd think more about our actions, and realise that speech isn't just a right, a lot of people don't have free speech, yet our western nations do.

It'd be interesting to see how people would react.
 
I talk A LOT...but only around close friends. I always win the quiet game. I've also gone more than an hour without speaking so...yes. I think I'd be okay. But I would find it pretty frustrating.
 
I wouldn't have a problem at all with it. It's through silence that you discover how people really feel about each other. I'm big on psychology, and I would to see how people would act without using their voice...which would probably be the complete opposite of what they would be saying. It's through silence that I've found out alot about myself, so I would just be like [MENTION=9037]wickedtiger86[/MENTION], and just listen to music all the time. 🙂

That's a pretty cool idea to think about. How people would express themselves without voice. A lot of my friends are extremely vocal people. . . Come to think of it, that's probably why they like me as a friend. I'm usually pretty content to just listen to other people.

I wonder if I would miss that. . .
 
Honestly, I would try to meet up with all my firends and we would gather around and try to figure this out, even though there is no way we could, only the scoobies could, but I'm still ambitious
