Lindsey had walked out the doors of Wolfram & Hart in "Blind Date"? Do you think he would've teamed up with Angel? Been killed by W&H (despite Holland's insistence that he had a choice)? Would you have liked his character less?🙂 Do you think he ever even intended to leave in the first place?

Powerful image, with him closing those office doors. You're not sure until the last second whether he's going to end up on the outside or inside of those doors. Spectacular episode for Lindsey.

I think if Lindsey had have walked out of Wolfram and Hart he would have ended up with the Angel gang. Imagine how different the entire series would have turned out? No Connor for one (since Lindsey was the person who ultimately bought Darla back), but I think he would have grown into a good man.

Lets face it though, his jealously over Cordelia and Angels budding romance would have turned him bad again.

Lol at the jealousy part :D Cangel!
I was always hoping Lindsey would become apart of AI. Having him apart of the gang would of certainly been interesting, and this is the first time ever this has come into my head, Fred and Lindsey as a couple I am kinda liking it, HA. Him and Lorne I think would of been a funny pairing. Maybe if Lindsey had joined AI I don't think there would of been any point of having Gunn. Maybe a recurring role for him.

I remember watching it, back then, and as the episode progressed I thought that was going to happen. I thought Lindsey would end up joining the AI. The end, for me, was really unexpected... and like someone mentioned the scene, where he closes the office door, is really powerful.

I really thought Lindsey was gonna join A.I. after he went to Angel to tell him about the kids. So the last scene was really unexpected and amazing, especially with the door thing. 😀 I wouldn't change the story, though. I love Lindsey this way(even he's not likable in S5).

But if he did join A.I., he would be like Angel's little brother. Sorry Langel fans. 😛

"Blind Date" trivia from wikipedia:

Jennifer Badger, who guest stars as Vanessa, has previously been Charisma Carpenter and Eliza Dushku's stunt double in both Buffy and Angel.[1]....

Special Effects Supervisor Loni Peristere says they couldn't afford to shoot Vanessa's perspective using greenscreen, so instead they came up with the "crazy idea" of painting the actors with glow-in-the-dark paint and shooting the scenes in the dark. The effect was intensified by offsetting the footage to create tracers, and then reversing the image - "it was supposed to tell the story that she sees the action before it actually happens," explains Peristere. "It was such a wacky idea and it really worked out well."[2]

I did love that scene, where Angel is fighting Vanessa.

^ I knew about Jennifer Badger. I thought she looks a bit like Eliza and wow, she was her stunt. But I didn't know about the characters painting, so thanks for sharing. 🙂

I think he would have joined up with Angel, but been always looking over his shoulder to see what Wolfram and Hart would do to him. I think he may have struggled to be apart of the gang in season two especially when Angel fired them, I think he might have left then to do his own thing.

I don't think they ever would of fully trusted him if he joined AI. He always looked shady, even when he was really trying to help. I liked evil Lindsey, it suited him better.

I think he would have teamed up with A.I and it would have been awesome. I was let down when he stayed on the side of evil and mad when he came back to try and kill Angel in season 5 >;/
