I'm not sure if this has been asked already, but if it has I apologize.

What if the agent of the First in Buffy season 7 wasn't Caleb or the Uber Vamps, but The Beast (From Angel)?

It was said the seal releases pure demons, and The Beast would've been a perfect candidate to come out of it.

The Beast has a ton of combat characteristics.
-Immune to weaponry
-Immune to Magicks (Willow would most likely be useless)
-Solid outer exterior rendering physical blows pointless
-Powerful physical blows

The Beast was able to beat his opponents without any problem.
-Beat the Fang Gang on the rooftop (Staked Angel in the throat and threw him off the rooftop)
-Beat Connor to a pulp and threw him out of a window
-Gave one of the most dramatic/intense beatings I've seen on the show to Faith
-Beat Angel and the Gang again in Connors home and was immune to their plan of a portal

How do you think the dynamic of season would've been if The Beast was the true agent of the First? Do you think it would've made the season better or worse? Would we have seen Buffy receive that brutal beating or would we still have seen it happen to Faith since Faith was present in season 7?

Oh good question... I imagine the Beast would have nailed them- after all, he did pretty much kill wolfram & hart. And the ''angelus'' suggestion... could have you imagined buffy or giles reaction?

The Beast uses night as a weapon... imagine this. Sunnydale forever night. Completely scary, and a really cool concept. Ubervamps also exist. I imagine, that buffy would get the potentials out of there asap. But it'd be too late, I mean, if the Bringers, Caleb and an ubervamp can just kill a couple, then the Beast would wipe them all out.

If the Beast actually was an agent, I doubt all the potentials would be together. I'm also thinking about the Beast's nature.... perhaps he would just go crazy, just devour and devour in his path.

The Beast's presence def would've made the season a lot darker. I mean like you said, he pretty much killed everyone inside Wolfram & Hart... and killed every living thing that moved. I personally feel, Buffy would've suffered a horrible beating. Probably worse than Faith's. And I honestly cannot imagine her tiny self getting pumbled by that huge thing lol.

Willow would be useless since magick doesn't effect him. I think the potentials would've been useless as well but needed in case The Beast succeeded in opening the Hellmouth.
Then theres the instance of what would happen to Xander? Caleb gauged his eye out. The Beast most likely would've snapped his neck, or crush his head in with his hands. So I believe Xander would've died.

I think overall he would've been such a strong opponent, I think they wouldn't have any other choice but to activate Dawn as the key to suck him completely into another realm along with destroying the hellmouth. Let Dawn have some type of relevance 😛
