what image editor is better paint shop pro or adobe photoshop

I would've said Paint Shop Pro Jack.
Although, Im not an expert, so you know, dont take me seriously lol!
 
Okay, there is also something else i want to no. Does psp have the stamp tool??.

Um.....well i want my banners to look like all just one big pic not like a few pics stuck on a square like some of my previous banners did.
 
That's just down to blending and erasing techniques - it's very easy really - a big help is to zoom in when you erase as you can be alot more precise - then use fading/blending. 🙂 That way the more you practise the better your technique will become and so will your banners.

Ask Lee - he nearly gave up at one point until I gave him a few pointers and encouraged him to keep trying and look how well he is doing now. 😀

HELP! ive just got Adobe Photoshop and im a little lost. ive been lokking at tutoirals on making special effects and it amazes me waht Photoshop can do. but i cant make banners 🙁 how do i get Jpg images in my benner? it jst dosent seem to be working for me. PSP is also a very good program, ive made all my banners in there so far.
 
I use adobe...But my banners are...Uh how should i put this nice to myself....UGLY!BAD!MENTAL!HORROR!EVIL!TERRIBLE!

PhotoShop for me aswell. I'm not a real expert, not too big on the banner making. I use it for photo manipulation and drawings mostly. I just picked this one because I got my hands on it, then I decided to stick with it.
 
what does it say when you try opening jpg images? cause it wont let me use png images but thats because i said when i installed it that i didnt want it bye accident
 
looks like you are doing an excellent job... i love that one there you have- keep up the great work!!!
 
photoshop elements 2 is good (thats what i use) because it has almost as many features as photoshop 7 but is $600 less.

@powerfulwicka, the other thing that really helps it look like one picture is feathering which is in both psp and photoshop. i almost always use it when im putting more than one pic in a banner. let me know if you need any other help with photoshop.

@buffyuker, you just have to open the blank banner image and the jpg image and select all or use the lasso (i like the magnetic one) if you just need a selection and feather if you want (selection----> feather) then go to edit----> copy. if it's still not working, you can pm me.
 
i just bought Adobe Photoshop7 and its being delivered to me because i got it from the states cause over here it costs $690.00. so i brought the cost down a bit by buyin it in USA😉. OMG im sooooo xcited.YAY!!!!!
