What impresses you the most about BB?

When you first join to BB, you might get a little overwhelmed. This place is overwhelming for many reasons. It's a great place for Buffy fans from all around the world, to have a nice Buffy talk.

So what impresses you the most about this place?

I love how active this place is!!! I also love how everyone is so friendly and how many interesting topics there are to read and write about. Also, all the cool designs! So much great stuff about this BB! 😀

There are so many things I love about this board but I really really like how nice everyone is.

Its pretty rare for me to see anyone on here being rude to anyone else and I love that.

Also really like how active it is, since I LOVE talking about Buffy and my various other geekdoms.

Though I was just thinking the other day that I really really love the design of this place, and all the different skins to choose from. It's nice that it's so visually pleasing and that you can pick who you want look at. 😀

I WOULD choose all of those in the poll, but I ended up choosing the friendly faces. Everyone here is so friendly and nice to talk to, and it's these friendly people that have me coming online everyday. I've made some good friends and if everyone here wasn't as great as they are, I wouldn't have the urge to come online everyday.

But of course, I love that this place is so active all the time, unlike a lot of other forums I go on. There's lots to talk about, and everyone has such great opinions. 🙂

I'd have to say The fact that it's very active and the amount of members. I've been on forums before and I have never seen one this active before or the amount of members. That's usually why when I usually sign up on forums there's never enough people or threads even this is the only one I've signed up on and stayed 😀

I voted the friendly faces because what impresses me most is everything, and everything couldn't be this way if not for the people. Not just us mere members, but the staff too. And they're part of the friendly faces... So yeah.

I chose "Designs" simply because the way the site is constructed was the first thing that impressed me even before I "met" anybody here. It's extremely easy to navigate & figure out how to post and do stuff. The design is appealing without being too cluttered, so it's easy to read people's posts. The fact that we get to post banners & have avatars adds to the fun & you get to see members' personalities that way. Although I do love how friendly & kind everybody is, too, first impressions really matter when it comes to the internet. Darla & the mods have done a great job! I love BB! 😀

The main reason why I joined in the first place was because it seemed so friendly.

Over the years it has been some moments perhaps but overall I think it's still one of the friendliest forums I know. Especially considering its size and activity.

It's surprisingly hard to find nice, friendly and active forums actually.

This is the smallest website by far that I've ever joined, and I was worried that it would be slow and clique-y as some websites are.
I'm also glad no one talks "l1k3 T1-11z"

But I'm glad to say that it isn't! People post all time, and they're all super nice! c:

I would choose all of the above but I'm particularly impressed by how active it still is. Buffy and AtS have been off the air for allmost nine years now and the fact that there are so many new threads and updates is amazing. I'm also extremely impressed by this site visually. I've never seen a website that was this diverse and asthetically pleasing.

I liked the fact that everyone was very welcoming, patient and helpful. It feels like a very nice community here.

I would have to say that the single most amazing thing about our community is that we all feel so passionate about Buffy and all of her friends, and even though that passion doesn't manifest itself the same way in each of us, we still remain friendly and respectful of each other. I have seen other forums where the slightest disagreement on the smallest detail of the most obscure subject can lead to situations that, face to face, could quite possibly lead to actual physical violence. We don't have that here, despite our blind Bangel devotion, our Spuffy colored glasses, our disagreements over whether the Potentials and Scoobies were right to throw Buffy out, or whether Twilight should have been Angel's third and final strike, we still stay nice in our disagreements.

That's what impresses me the most about the Buffy Boards. That, and how receptive the poor, deluded Bangels have been to the truth and salvation offered by Adopt-A-Bangel.

Definitely the diversity of opinion. On a lot of other boards I've been on, the members are all like-minded... on my first forum, they were all pretty mindless fans and attacked anyone who criticized anything at all, on one they were all very clique-oriented, even on the other forum I frequent now we're all united by common opinions, without a lot of disagreement (though we're okay with it. We're just all pretty alike).

It was a really good shock to find that BB had diversity with life experience, with opinion... people are genuinely different and people are okay with that. The first conversation that I had on BB (not counting my "hi, I'm new" one) was a disagreement with a couple of members, one of which is now my girlfriend. 🙂

People here don't care if you don't believe in what they say, as long as you're respectful about it and don't make it a big deal. That is so refreshing to me. So many friendships on other sites have been spoiled because I have an opinion. And that's not something that's gonna happen here. And that makes me happy.

All that said, GO KENNEDY! YOU RULE!

I also love how active people are. This site seems to be as immortal as a few of the characters it follows (yes, lame joke)! Long live BB and it's amazing people! I hope to see you on my 90th birthday and beyond!

The thing that initially got me to join BB was the activeness of the site. I remember looking for Buffy forums thinking that everything would be long-dead, and being WOWED that this site was still so active.
The thing that has kept me here is the fact that the conversation is still so interesting and the people are so friendly and welcoming. And if I do say so myself, we have a kick-ass staff that helps keep the place running. 😉

I'm very impressed with how active BB is. Considering Buffy has been canceled for years, it's great to see there's still plenty of people who still love the show, and still find things to talk about it. The staff is amazing, the site not only looks great but it functions amazing as well. I've joined dozens of forums, but BB is by far the best. This place is like a second home to me.
