What Is Buffy Drawing?

Another OMWF topic but hey.

In OMWF after the opening credits Buffy is sat in The Magic Box drawing something then Giles comes to take her off for training. I have tried and tried to figure out what she is drawing but I cant. So, what is she drawing!?
 
That's a very good question. I have the episode on now, and I have it in slow motion. I can see lots of shade in the background, which makes me think she might be drawing a head of someone and that's what the shade is. You also can see two eyes and a nose, but the figure looks like an evil ghost or something. I'm not really sure what it is. We never get a good angle of it.
 
Looking at the picture Magui posted, I'd go with my assumption that it's a head. If you look at the heavy diagonal line at the top, it could be the part of a girls hair. Then right under it could be the forehead. And the part she's drawing in that picture could be the eye brows or the eyes.
 
I think you're right Hero...I'd watch the ep,but that prt has been cut in Argentina ::crying::...I didn't even know tht part existed till I read this thread lol
 
I've enlarged and straightened out the proportions of the picture, also give it some more contrast, and I'm gonna say it's a woman's face. See the details by the arrow, I think it's an eye. I don't know if anyone was sitting across the table from her in this episode. I think it's either Dawn or Tara.

So, the "always wrong one" might be right?! Yay! It could be of Tara. It could have been a small way for Joss to foreshadow her death. You know the way he is.

I know one of my friends said LOOK IT'S SADAKO FROM RINGU! I just stared blankly at her like, you moron. But I was nice. You never know what that thing could be.

At the risk of being repetitive and stating the obvious...Yes it's definitly a person's head...I never knew she could draw so well....
 
LOL! OMG! I almost started a thread on this...

I believe it's the light at the end of the tunnel...like what she saw as she died...a clue about her having crossed over...to Heaven. Just a thought...
 
In the shooting scripts for the episode, it's stated that she's shading the entire page black. Here's the excerpt:

Sorry to crush everyone's hopes. Although, I first, I also thought it was vaguely human shaped.

Does, this mean Sarah was actually doin' this, or has she perhaps improvised a bit (which happens) and drawn this instead?
