What is one situation on Buffy and one on Angel where each could have used the other?

It can be a battle, and apocalypse, tense emotional moment, anything really. What is one situation from Buffy where she (or The Scoobies) could have used/needed Angel/AI. And what is one of the opposite, where Angel/AI could have used/needed Buffy/Scoobies?

From Buffy:

I think in S5 when Glory discovers Dawn is the key. They're just flat out running from Glory and the Knights of Byzantium (...sigh...those guys were crap) in Spike's RV. Every time I see that episode I always think "wow, they could really use Angel right now. Big time".

From Angel:

When Connor is born and AI is just pinned down in the Hyperion, basically under complete siege from every bad guy ever, I always think that Angel should have made the call to Sunnydale. They're totally out of options otherwise. And indeed, things went south quick after that.

Yeah I always think about that when I watch that episode. It doesn't make any sense. But hadn't they switched networks in season 5/2? So they weren't allowed to do crossovers which sucks...not necessarily because they switched but because the network wanted Angel to be it's own entity, well at least that's the BS excuse they used at the time.

I mean, I get that Buffy and Angel have to solve their own problems, otherwise why have two shows at all, but they intersected quite a bit at the start of Angel and by S5 they mention Buffy pretty much every episode (and don't have one crossover. Grrr. Argh), so I don't know why they didn't interact more. I mean, in that scene in particular, Buffy even says something along the lines of "just drive, we have nowhere to go". Come on now. Basic logic says Angel. I mean, he was just there in "Forever". The only thing I can think of to make it even semi-rational is that Buffy and Willow must have known that Angel and his crew were in Pylea around that time.

I'm sure if the RV didn't get destroyed and they weren't under siege at the store they would have ended up in LA with Angel.

And as A hardcore Bangel lover I think they could always use each other 😀

But I think maybe having Buffy come to find Angel when Connor had him imprisoned at sea could have worked, but I supposed finding Angel gave Wesley
Credibility once again and brought him back into Angel Investigations lives.

I will always wish that Angel could have had a bigger role in s07 of BtVS. They needed all the help they could get and Angel could have at least helped earlier than the finale or had more than a minute during the finale.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Pylea. Well maybe they should have had Buffy say that she called Angel a few times but he didn't answer so on the run they went. I just find it totally weird that she wouldn't even try to contact him, and how could she know that he was MIA if she didn't even try!? Haha but I like that they went on the run, it just seems weird that LA didn't seem to occur to anyone. Oh and I forgot about the Forever crossover, I think seasons 3 and 6 were the only seasons without any crossovers.
