What is the Style Chooser/skin?

Hi. Sorry if this has been answered before, however I did read the FAQ and was unable to find it. I noticed that there is something with "Style Chooser" on the bottom left hand side of the screen and had different names, also that it had "skin" set to default. I did read the FAQ and also did a search but came up empty. Can someone tell me what does this/do mean please? Any help much appreciated, thank you! :confused2

The "Quick Style/Skin Chooser" function is for switching the color and picture schemes of the board to something more to your liking.

If you haven't already, go now and click that function, then choose something from the drop-down list, just to see what I mean. Don't worry, you won't hurt anything. 🙂
