three words Baby...Got....Back. Love that song it's so funny and catchy. Not really the biggest rap fan in the world, always like the mpore r and by tunes instead of the rap based. I do like the lyrics to Changes by 2pac though

I like that song 2...But I HATE HATE HATE the re-mix....Like how is says base...And the beat....I wanna stab it..Not really...But i still hate it..

Tupac's my favorite rapper. My favorite songs, of the ones I've heard so far:

So Many Tears
Until the End of Time
Dear Mama
Keep Ya Head Up
Still I Rise

Nas was decent in the "hate me now" era...

eminem has some good lyrics, which means good songs... "role model". "white america", "cleanin' out the closet" and others

but since lyrics are really important for me when it comes to music, i tend to put a c when it comes to spelling this genre

I do not understand what you just said, Lorne...Care to translate?

I think the only Nas song I've heard, which is nearly my ultimate favorite rap song is, "One Mic" - I think the pace is great and I love the lyrics.

I agree about the lyrics, and normally I would be offended by some lyrics.. but Eminem's really aren't that mean, imo, 'cause I know that he's just venting. If I was writing some rap songs, I'd be saying the same stuff. 'Cleanin' out the Closet' is great and I also like 'Sing For the Moment' and 'Hailie's Song'.

Wow, I use to looooove Weird Al. Amish Paradise was my absolute favorite.

Now that Allycat has mentioned it, I think I'll go download Tupac's "Changes." Thanks!

Tupac - Changes n Thugz Mansion
So Solid Crew - Broken Silence
Nas - Get Down n One Mic
DMX - Where Da Hood At
Fabolous ft Lil' Mo n Mikey Short - Cant Let You Go
Eminem ft Cypress Hill - Superstar n My Dads Gone Crazy
Mc Hammer - You Cant Touch This
Nelly - Country Grammar
Notorius B.I.G ft P.Diddy n Mase - Mo Money Mo Problems
Clispe - Grindin'
50 Cent - P.I.M.P
Xzibit - Papprazi

and many more...

How could I forget Grindin' and offcourse

the Clipse - Grindin'
TQ - Westside
JD ft. Ludacris & P. Diddy & Snoop Dogg - Welcome to Atlanta (rmx)

Angels girl, we listen to all the same songs......i love pimp!

I know about as much about rap as Lawrence Welk knows about speed metal, but here goes:

  • Damn it Feels Good to Be a Gangsta - Ghetto Boys (from the movie Office Space)
  • Tennessee - Arrested Development

And although I despise Eminem as a person (I think he's a dangerous, mysogynistic little Napolean), I gotta admit that the man can rap.

This is definitely my cup of tea:

Eminem - Kill You
Eminem - Soldier
Eminem ft. Jay-Z - Renegade
Atmosphere - Modern Mans Hustle
Atmosphere - Always Coming Back Home To You
Busta Rhymes - Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See
Talib Kweli - Where Do We Go
Craig Mack - Flava In Ya Ear (remix)
2Pac - Keep Ya Head Up
Nas - One Mic
Ludacris - Freaky Thangs

Lots more...not enough time...
