Absolutely hands down Not Fade Away!

The first time I ever saw it, I of course missed the point. I was so mad that it ended like that. Once I thought about it, and finally understood that it brings the show full circle, I thought it was brilliant! Not to mention, the entire episode is pretty well done in general.

Yeah, definitely Not Fade Away. It fits perfectly with the rest of the show, ending on a cliffhanger in the middle of a battle because for those like Angel the fight will never truly be over. There are things I don't agree with, sure, like Angel making Lorne shoot Lindsey, but that's not a plot hole or a character being OOC, so it doesn't count. Everything in this episode is just pure perfection and it's not just my favorite finale, but in my top favorite episodes overall.

I can only agree with everyone else, Not Fade Away is the best Angel finale.

I picked Not Fade Away but im gonna tell you it is close with To Shanshu in LA. That season ending was surprising (Darla in a box- WTH??) and kept you guessing (what does the Shanshu mean for Angel and the show?). But I have always loved how NTF ties perfectly into the theme of the show. Some people hate it and do not get that.

Angel finales are always so non-linear. It's like, the season was leading to something, and then the finale is something else. I would agree "Not Fade Away" is the best finale. But for second place? "Birth, death and rebirth in LA." It truly wiped the deck clean, gave us a dramatic fight against a formidable opponent, and surprise!, naked Girl in a box! It ended the season, and began the next one, whereas 2 was just so out of left field, 3 & 4 were about setting up next year over wrapping up last year.

I love both Not Fade Away and To Shanshu in LA. I love how close Angel, Wesley and Cordelia are then, so I'm going to be the rebel that doesn't vote for NFA!

I’m torn between Not Fade Away and Home. NFA is much grander and epic, but I really love Home. It has a feel of transformation and change, of ”oh, what’s next” + also I love Connor so the Angel/Connor scenes are gold to me

I chose To Shanshu In LA. To Shanshu In LA for the win! It has a lovely feeling between AI.
Seconded by Home.
I like Not Fade Away better than on my first watch on TV but It's not one of of favorite episode of ATS, far from that. I understand the end better than before but it's always kind of sad.
