What is Your favorite Disney Cartoon and Why?

What is Your'e favorite Disney Cartoon and Why. I have to write an essay on Disney Cartoons. So I want to know what your favorite is...
 
Wow, this is a tougher question than I thought at first! I like The Little Mermaid, even though the rebellious aspects of Ariel's behaviour are a bit cringworthy for a parent of a teenager. Aladdin would be a good choice. It has a fairly good plot, a suitably nasty villain, and of course, Robin Williams was just unbelievable as the Genie. But...My favourite movie from Disney is The Lion King. It has it all, the best songs, a strong plot, memorable and vivid characters, and a very slimy, yet satisfying, bad guy. Hamlet, except with claws, and the prince lives!
 
This is a really hard choice for me. It's a toss up between Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin, I love them both. I love the music and the whole story for both of them. It's like animated broadway.
 
Sleeping Beauty what can I say I love how detailed everything is ... no other disney looks that way--- I loved the dragon oh an the villian thought she was just so delicousley evil--- the fairies are so funny --- I think its a masterpeice
 
It would have to be The Jungle Book for me (from when I was a nipper) but the more recent Disney/Pixar movies would all feature in the top 10.
 
Lion King is my all time fave. Like Killerdwarf said, great characters, great plot, good villian. Then my second would have to be Beauty and the Beast, the thought of talking human appliances and stuff just seems to appeal to me. Plus I love the characters and the plot of the story.
 
I like Aladdin and Sleeping Beauty the best as Disney movies, however I just saw Beauty & The Beast on Broadway and thought it phenomenal. I have a personal attachment to Aladdin though because in my High School Talent Show of my Senior Year, the guy I liked at the time and I sang "A Whole New World" together.
 
Cinderella-The whole 'Prince Charming' thing and the 'fairy godmother' were exelent! plus the stoy was really good too..🙂

Shrek. Theres numerous others that are up there with it, Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Monsters Inc., and Ice Age. But Shrek cracked me up! Also have much love for Lion king, but the death scene still makes me cry. Batty Koda in Fern Gully is an awesome character too!

The Little Mermaid-It is full with intense emotions and other worldy beings. It is like a dream/fantasy world.
 
i like Mulan... i think it has to do with the dragon... he si so funny! spesialy in Norwegian, it's this really funny comidian that has alll the funny character voices in disney movies like that.... and besides it's a really great story, and it really shows that girls CAN fight for important issues.. and little girls need to learn that girls can also fight, and e strong.

i also like nemo.. also again with the funny, Dory is the cutest, funniest little fish!! and the turtles are so cool. the baby turtles are the cutest!

i like the songs in Pocahontas.

and snowhite was my fave as a kid....
 
Ooooo........so hard to pick just one. I *think* it has to be Toy Story, no wait, Dinasours, er no, Finding Nemo.......oh god help, it's so hard to pick just one. 'lol'

Ok, I'll be firm and go with my all time favourite classic 'Snow White', it was the first Disney film I ever saw and I fell in love with it, and of course Dopey is too cute. 😀
 
Shrek was DreamWorks. But it was still a great movie. And one of the most original movies.
Also Jacklyn I didn't think of that. But yes Joss did write some of Toy Story. He also wrote some of Atlantis: The Lost Empire. And Also lyricist for The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.

I love The Lion King, I think its so funny.....but my all time favourite is Cinderella. When I was little I used to watch it over and over. Those mice are so cute and funny.

Then again I used to obsses over Sleeping Beauty. And when I was young I used to try and guess which colour the dress would finish with the blue and pink witch switching its colours....I always thought the blue looked better 🙂
 
The Lion King- I love this movie. It's great. As killerdwarf said: "It has it all, the best songs, a strong plot, memorable and vivid characters, and a very slimy, yet satisfying, bad guy. Hamlet, except with claws, and the prince lives!" Also at the time I had a crush on Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Also we (me and my friends) always sing Hakuna Matata on road trips. Some times just to bug the driver. And sometimes just cuz we all know the words to that song.
Finding Nemo- Well this one was a great movie too. I loved Dory. And it's just so cute and funny. And a movie about fish. It made me think of the Little Mermaid. Witch I love.

Snow White- Ok I love this one too. Plus my friend was Dopey in a play of Snow White. I helped her practice. Witch made me like it even more. Also I love the Dwarfs. (Can you name all the 7 Dwarfs??). I ask that to everyone. Very few can.
Mulan- Ok this one was just pure genies. It was so funny but serious, sad, and even there was Romance in it. I loved it. Mainly 2 parts one when all the Shoulders where training it was so funny. That they were that bad. But turned out to be great. Also when there traveling to the pass. And singing that was so funny.
Pocahontas- ok I love this Movie. It's so good. No idea why I like it so much but I do. Also I love the songs.
The Little Mermaid- First movie I ever saw In the Theater. I just have an attachment to it.

Aladdin- I just love this one to. I also loved Jasmine. She was definitely my favorite princess. Still is. So that makes it even better. Plus good Story.
Monsters Inc. - This was just so cute. And Come what's not funny about Monster Land. (Not what it's called but what I call it). Plus Boo is so cute. She looks like one of my cousins. So we call her Boo as a nickname.
Hercules- Ok I just thought this was cute. I loved the story. That's about it. But the little dude's (don't remember there names) were so funny. (Now I need to go watch the movie to remember there names)
101 Dalmations "“ It's about dogs what more do you need. Well I love dogs and am a little over the top with them. So I like this movie cuz of the dogs.
Jungle Book- Good story. Nothing like the book. But it's so cool with all the animals. And this movie has so much. I love Bagger and Bola. They were so neat.
Lady and the Tramp- Again Dogs. I also played the cat song on the piano. So adds to my likening of the movie. And well I and my mom would always watch it. But I do not like the rat. It freaked me out. (Only thing that freaked my out in a cartoon)

Pinocchio- Ok this one was just cool. A puppet that becomes alive. But wants to become a real boy. And you can so learn form him of what not to do. But I still loved this movie.
Atlantis- Ok this one was cool. I loved this cuz when I saw it I was getting out of the kiddy movies and wanted something a little scarier. Witch was this. Also Joss wrote it how you can go wrong.
Sleeping Beauty- Long time Favorite. But I lost my movie of it. But then it came on DVD and I got it. I still love it.
Tarzan- Phil Collins wrote most of the songs in this one. I just love it.
Treasure Planet- Don't knows why but I like it.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame- Love this one to. He's an Outcast and wants to not be one. I've felt like an outcast before. Mainly when I went in to Jr. High so this movie made me think that it does mater how you look. (Ya I might not be the thinnest or prettiest but hay if I like how I am then it doesn't matter cuz people will like me for me.) It matters how you think of your self.

The Fox and the Hound- friendship don't matter if you're the same one driftnet you can still be friends.
Robin Hood "“ How can you not Like Robin Hood. It's so good steel from the rich give to the poor. It not the best moral story. But it's so neat.
Ducktales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp- Lest just say I WAS over the top with Ducks too.
Dinosaur- It was just cool.
Toy Story and Toy Story 2- Cute movies. And Hay Joss wrote them.
Aladdin and the King of Thieves- The best Aladdin movie. I like it for so many things. Jasmine and Aladdin's Wedding. Aladdin's Father, we also learn about Aladdin's past and it is just so funny. Plus I have so many Memories with this movie.
