In respect of the buffy series finale (of season 7) I wanted to ask what is everyone's favourite season ender episode of buffy of all 7 seasons
 
too...many....options!!

I'll decide for sure later, but I'm debating between Chosen and the Gift right now.
 
It was really, really hard for me to choose- I love Becoming pt 2 (Buffy/Angelus sword fight!!), Graduation Day pt 2 is sexy (Bangel bite) and fun (the whole school fighting), and The Gift is just...no words. But Restless is my favorite. There's so much in there, I get more out of it on every rewatch. The symbolism is amazing, it was so well-written and produced.

Restless is also one of my fav (of the whole serie as a matter of fact). I think it is wayyy underrated!
 
I love Restless to death, but nothing will ever beat how awesome Becoming Pt.2 was the first time I saw it! It had such an impact on me as a teen. 🙂

100% agree with this and that's why Becoming got my vote 🙂
 
They are all great, but Becoming had the most emotional impact one me. So that's why I vote for Becoming.
 
Definately Becoming. Becoming part 2 is one of my favourite episodes of the entire series so it was a no brainer for me.
 
Becoming was, and still is, an amazing piece of television. But of course, I have to go with my heart, and how I felt when I first saw an episode, and Restless takes the cake for me. It's my favorite episode of television, period. Someone could write a novel about the virtues, the foreshadowing, the character relevance, and the brilliance of the episode. Please, don't get me started....I can go forever. 🙂

'The Gift' gets my vote every time. It's just such a highly charged episode, with so many things happening at once. Buffy's speech to Dawn at the top of the tower is beautiful and her sacrifice - her gift - was wonderful. I love everything about it.

Becoming Part 2 changed everything. Not only in the show but for me too because it was the first ep of show that I ever saw. In terms of story, action, angst, character progression and just sheer gut wrenching pain, nothing touches Becoming part 2. Even the score and soundtrack are without compare.
 
Wow! I think I've answered this before but looking at the options in front of me its quite hard.

I think the finale with Season 3 was quite epic. The school's destruction, the students fighting.. While Season Five was grande as well, with Buffy's death. Season Six's finale, with its down-played ending, full of emotion, perfect ending to a dark and emotional season..

Its hard to not like the season play a part in my vote.

I think I will say.. Season 5, The Gift
 
I went with Becoming but it was hard, I do love graduation day, prophecy girl, the gift.
 
I'll never be able to choose between Becoming and Chosen... Both are in my list of favorite episodes. Both make me cry each time I watch... Nope, sorry, can't choose.
 
Season 3 was the first and last time Buffy led a group of people in a successful battle against the big bad, in this case, the Mayor, and took only the few casualties one would predict from a battle like this. It closed the chapter on high school and showed the friends moving towards what they wanted to be and away from the reginmentation that is high school.

Oz his hands in his pockets: "Guys take a moment to deal with this: - we survived." Xander nods.
Buffy: "It was a hell of a battle!"
Oz: "Not the battle (Cordy looks at him) high school."
They all look quietly at the school and listen to the crickets chirping.
Oz: "We're taking a moment (Willow and Buffy get up from the bench. Oz looks at Cordy) and we're done."

The Gift stands out the most to me.

It's followed by Chosen, Graduation Day, and Restless. All insanely awesome episodes but just didn't come close to the epicness of The Gift.

Which is then followed by Grave, Becoming, and then Prophecy Girl.
