A friend of mine gave me a Slytherin pin once. Then she asked me if we could still be friends, even though she was a Hufflepuff. I said, 'Of course. You are way too cool to be a Hufflepuff, anyway.' I guess that is the dorky equivalent of saying, 'You are not at like other gays/blacks/women/swedes.'

I have a Hufflepuff robe. I take the HP fandom pretty seriously. Had an epic HP party last year and even took my robe to the UK and went to the midnight book launch for the Cursed Child. And went to the midnight screening of Fantastic Beasts in my robe. I'm a very proud Hufflepuff.
