What is your least favorite episode?

Superstar? Really? I love that episode.
And Restless?!? That ep is amazing.

My least favorite..hmm.."Never Kill a Boy on the First Date" comes to mind. Booorrrring. Seriously had to watch it at least five times before I could even tell you what it was about.
"The Killer in Me" was also pretty boring.
Oh, and "The Initiative," "Doomed" and that one episode with Idaho in the title of S4...snore.
"Beer Bad" is on the list, too, but not as low as the others.

I remember before getting into Buffy, an episode was on TV. So my Aunt who was trying to get me into Buffy said, "Oh, it's Beer Bad, it's a horrible episode." And honestly, I didn't think it was that bad. It had a purpose: starting to get Buffy over Parker; and it had some funny moments: Giles and Xander and Willow seeing right through Parker's trap. But just the whole personification of someone acting like a caveman just wanting beer, food, and sex. Which, as a college student, you see a lot of people act like this.

I have never cared for Inca Mummy Girl. Just though the whole episode was so contrived and ridiculous.

Why all the "Restless" hate? It's an amazing episode! While I don't hate Beer Bad I do think it's one of the really low points of the series. But the stand alones in S2. Ugh. I mean, the overall arc is awesome but they have two good one shot episodes (BBB and I Only Have Eyes For You) but S3 totally ended that. Some of the standalones there are the best of the series.

I like "Beer Bad"! I definitely think there are worse episodes... I don't particularly like "Restless" very much at all. It has its moments but definitely not one of my faves.

This is a hard one, because most of the episodes mentioned are ones that I like. Hmm, though I'd have to say Superstar is one that I don't particularly care for. It's not a bad episode, but it's not the greatest in my opinion either.

And Restless was pretty, but I would have much rather had it for a filler episode instead of a season finale.

I love Restless! I think it's easily one of the most well-written episodes of the series. 😀

I really, really hate Killed By Death and Go Fish. I'll watch both of them because I'm weird and I don't like to skip episodes in re-watches, but grrr...I really dislike those episodes.

Aw, and I like those two eps. lol. For very shallow reasons. 😉

My least favorite episode is Empty Places, it makes me angry.
but Where The Wild Things Are is lousy too and Fool For Love is really boring.

I think Restless and Superstar are both great episodes!

Where the Wild Things Are is definitely the worst on the roster.
Ugh, the whole episode just makes me cringe, oh except for Giles singing at the Espresso Pump!

My least favourite is probably I Robot, You Jane. I just think it's really silly, and it drags so much. Also, Inca Mummy Girl is hard to sit through. The kind of episodes you want them to end quickly but for some reason feels like you're watching a 3-hour boring epic.

Oh man, I love IRYJ! I always thought Moloch "getting on the internet" was a wonderfully 90's idea! Haha!!
There are a lot of poor episodes in Buffy, but the only one that I hate is 'Where the wild things are'. Truly embarrassing piece of TV.

Why all the season 4 hate? baha...
MMMMM, i wouldn't say they were eps that i truly hate.. i dislike watching episodes like 'Anne' , 'beneath you'. Idk, just never liked them, seem annoying and skippable(even though i don't) I suppose i don't like 'Beer bad' that much either but shhhuuush i neever said that. 😉

My sis said to me yesterday that she hated 'Pangs' , she said it was the worst episode ever. 😛 haa, she mad? ;D

I hated "Pangs" first time around, but I *did* acuire a taste for it later on ^^
Living Conditions. It's the only episode that I skip in rewatches. I've seen it twice, and that's enough for me. First of all, I don't much care for Cher. And I hate the toenail theory, the milk thing, how crazy Buffy gets... I agree with Willow. I have a sucky roommate, but I don't want to kill her. And that stupid fake language Kathy speaks... It's annoying. She's annoying, the whole episode is annoying.

lol. What's wrong with Cher?! ;)
"Chosen". You know an episode must totally suck if it has Spike bursting in flames and dying, and yet I end up hating it. 🙂 Also "Lies Joss Whedon Told Me", "Flooded", "Wrecked", all the Dark Willow episodes, "Get It Done", "Same Place, Same Crap"...well let's just put all of S6-7 in that category, shall we? Okay, maybe not "Normal Again".

My least favourites are probably all in season 2, Reptile boy, Go fish, Killed by death, bad eggs, they're not very funny and they don't add anything to the more serious storylines of season 2, they're just standalone, sub-standard episodes

My least favourite episode probably has (*hands down*) to be the Doublemeat Palace. Although I can appreciate the idea of giving Buffy a minimum-wage job flipping burgers, I found myself wishing that they hadn't devoted an entire episode to the idea :silly:

I thought the whole set-up of the DM Palace was just really predictable and cheesey, all the characters that Buffy worked with were sort of two-dimensional drones (and a little creepy!). And not to mention that disturbing Spuffy scene out behind the dumpsters, not exactly entertainment for the Bangel fans of the crowd.

I suppose being someone who had worked in those kind of jobs I was hoping for a more "out of the box" storyline, and a little more humor than I got out of the dialogue. Maybe I'm alone in this, but the episode just never did it for me 🙁

Dead Things.

I just can't with this episode. So, disgusting and... ugh. Warren trying to rape Katrina then murdering her and screwing with Buffy to make her think she did it, Buffy & Spike's... you know what on the balcony of The Bronze that I can barely think about without getting sick, Buffy beating the living hell out of Spike, the list goes on and on. I just... terrible, terrible episode.

I really wish it didn't exist sometimes.

I wish S6 post Tabula Rosa and pre Normal Again didn't exist.
Okay, I know it's a beloved episode, but I can't stand it...Amends. And for the record, I hated this episode long before I liked Spuffy.

Both Buffy and Angel piss me off in this episode. And that last scene...complete cheesefest IMO, when the snow started to fall. It didn't move me at all. Sorry.

I liked the last scene a lot when I was 14! Nowadays I find it silly too :)

"Both Buffy and Angel piss me off" Haha! Yea, it is a little melodramatic.
I actually really hate 'Normal Again'. I actively hated it the entire time I first watched it. Ret-con ish episodes like that really bother me, and while I can appreciate the idea behind it, any possibility that Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the Scoobies weren't real (or okay, I know they're still fictional obviously, but you know what I mean) just makes me upset. I don't even know. I'm just ridiculously oversensitive to this or something, I'm sure. I just can't deal with that episode...😛
