What is your philosophy?

My philosophy is...everything happens for a reason and if its going to happen it will happen no matter what!
I guess that kinda means i believe in fate and kissmet etc...some people say stuff like..take everyday as it comes or live while you can!

Not sure if philosophy was the right word to use here but its 3 in the morning and ive had no sleep for 2 days (dont ask)!!
But anyway what is your philosophy that you live by?

Interesting topic choice! I like...

My philosphy...I have a few concerning a wide array of categories.

For one, I think people need to hold themself accountable for their own actions. Not their parents, not the media, not their friends. Themselves.

I've found that the easiest way to live is to live to the fullest, embrace all the good with the bad. It's impossible to live in a perfect world, or to expect as much. Deal with what you're given.

I've always liked the line "I'd rather be hated for what I am than loved for what I am not."

I'm sure I can think of a few more later tonight...but I'm running on minimal sleep, too. Maybe we should start an insomniac club or something...
 
I have to say that my "philosophy" is similar to both Akasha's and xtrustno1x's in that I believe eveything happens for a reason... However I'm not as optimistic about it, I'm more centered on the accepting, rather than the embracing. I just think that things happen because they are supposed to. The the bad is for a reason, and has it's purpose, as does the good. Looking at things this way sometimes makes it easier to accept things that are happening and just deal and move on.... Although this is much easier said than done.
 
rene you're quite the pessimist. Sometimes I agree with your philosophy though.

Ok mine... I take life as it is. I change what is in my power to change if it's wrong and except what I can't. I love people for being who they are and don't hold religion, race, sexuality, ect. as a reason to not get along with someone. I don't think you should try to change people unless they ask you to. Imagination is like blood.

There's more, just have to figure out how to explain it... if my insane thoughts are explainable.
 
great philosophies yall...understand each and every one of them....employ each of them in my life...

gots to be a spirit...not a ghost...falkin resonates within me...that movie was falkin ill...

change your stars....

it is only after you've lost everything...that your free to do anything...

and "It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice"
"It's better to have loved and lost then to never have loved"

Those are my three "philosophies"

One of my philosophy is

There is is always
someone who suffered more than you do,
someone who went through more than you do,
someone who is more scared than you,
someone who is sadder than you so
someone who know more than you do, ...
don't complain, stop focusing on yourself, don't act like you're the center of the world but don't brag either, open your eyes, look around & learn.

ahhh...love that one...in martial arts training they teach you to never focus on a fixed object...slows your reaction time...plus it shows where you going to attack...but when you incorporate this non focusing vision in real life....your in another world...time slows...at peace....

I didnt think anyone would reply to this post!! im glad im not the only philisophical one. you all have some good thoughts i also like open your eyes,Look around and learn! thats definately a good one Frenchy.
Another of mine is..have more faith and confidence in myself and others will believe in me! and for someone to love you ,you have to be able to love yourself!
and half the things you worry about never happen so quit worrying!!

Here's another i like...if you dont believe in something because you cant see it with your own eyes, then open them up and see a whole new world! well it makes sense to me anyway 😀
 
I like that...like that scene in Contact when she told him she needs to see something to believe it...he said "Did you love your father?" "Yes" and he says "Prove it" That was great...Eghm...anyway...I like yours Akasha...😉

Ive not seen that film..i shall have to watch it..i think ive seen some of it actually its the one with jodi foster isnt it?Thats a good question though how do you prove your love for somebody!!

i don't really have a philosophy, i just think stuff like "life sucks, and no mather wath you do, it will always sucks..all you have to do is try to make the best of it, with the one we love, so that it doesn't suck as much is it could, and maybe if were one of the lucky *******s(that we're not!), we maith even atchive that mith called happiness.." lol, i know it doesn't make any sense but i'm like that.. i don't make any sense.. ::eyes::
