Right, since the 'What made you happy today?' thread was full, here's a new one 😀

What made me happy today was that I cooked my first real meal in our kitchen since I moved here 4 months ago..I'm well proud 😀 I was always afraid of the gas stove, lol, I hate these things.
And now today I also boiught new lighters especially for the stove...they are these big ones, so you don't brun your fingers 😀

I got my white contact lenses for Halloween! :biggrin: I got them in now, very weird, hehe.

That is correct, yes. And I went into town with my mum to make sure she bought it. 😀
 
This morning I watched a couple of Blue Tits and a Robin flitter around in the tree outside my kitchen window, as they often do this time of year. Very calming. It made a cold but bright day even brighter. Yep, it's the small things that please my little brain, although tomorrow it'll probably be the usual sex and violence on TV
 
I watched two new sneak peeks from the Twilight movie over and over and over. That made me happy!
 
The Boards being back made me happy 😀 Come on, this makes everyone happy 😀

Actually a few days ago, Wednesday night, but it may have been Thursday morning there, My niece and their husband had their baby making me a Great Uncle.(again)

My niece and nephew I think of like a younger sister and brother, as my niece is 8 years younger and my nephew 10. We are very close, even if my niece and I don't get to talk as much as we use to, she and her husband and now my great nephew live far away from me in Ireland. I was really worried about her, this is her first baby and they say that is suppose to be hardest. Also my last experience concerning child birth with my wife and daughter was very scary.

But now everything is ok for everyone and there isn't anything to worry over. it's a load off of my mind, I'll tell you!
 
I'm happy becuase its bonfire night 🙂 toffee apples and fireworks galore!
 
Seeing Lee Evans live at Wembley Arena last night I was laughing so much my sides were hurting. That man is a legend when it comes to comedy!

You forgot the supervision you've gotten for cooking and that you managed to drown your mashed potatoes yesterday ;P
