Sorry if there's been a thread like this before, but I couldn't see one.
What kinda music do you guys like to listen to?
I love Michelle Branch, Evanescence, Aimee Mann, the Goo Goo Dolls, all the Buffy music of course (Christophe Beck is a GENIUS), Feeder and Dido, as well as looads of other people and kinds of music 😀
 
i like evenescence and good charlotte well basically i like mostly rock music
 
As it was put at work today "Kill music". But Foos, Chilis, Nirvana, Marilyn Manson (but mainly Mech. Animals album), Placebo, Some Muse, Some Janes Addiction, Audioslave, Bit of Sound Garden
 
I like Evanesence, Justin Timberlake, 50Cent, Tupac, Pharrell Williams, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Lumidee, Fatman Scoop, Sean Paul, P.Diddy, Wayne Wonder, Jay Z, Beyonce, Xzibit n Aaliyah.

mostly metal, but I like other genres and my favorite bands are usually either synth rock or goth rock
 
michelle branch, linkin park, dido, the ataris, blink 182, new found glory, trust company, matchbox 20, simple plan, good charlotte, trapt, dashboard confessionals, Sarah McLaughin, and a bunch of buffy artists too.
 
I like a lot of goth & new wave-y 80s stuff. I also dig Bad Religion, Tool, Pink Floyd, Dead Milkmen, They Might Be Giants, Violent Femmes.

Any rumors of me liking ABBA are false and slanderous accusations which I vehemently deny. And I double-deny that I know all the words and sometimes sing along.
 
I like all kinds of music, just depending on my mood. Except country music, I can't really get into that.
 
I love rock, alternative, hip hop, R&B, classical, and pop. These are my teen years, so that's the kind of music I like!

Am I the only one here who likes Michelle Branch's music? Also, Chris Beck is a great producer!
 
Nooo! I looove Michelle Branch, i'm totally OBSESSED with her. Which of her albums do you like better? I prefer Spirit Room, but all 3 of them are awesome.

I'm old so I've heard and liked many types of music from 60's pop and soul through to some current stuff. I still keep coming back to old school punk and new wave though - Clash, Damned, Pistols, Ramones, Iggy Pop, Blondie, Elvis Costello, Ian Dury etc.

I don't know about that - I've not seen that one. Although, if it's a compilation of punk and new wave, I've probably got most of the tracks anyway. Have you got any further info on it Lorne?
 
Techno, House, Dance! Love that fast stuff.

E-type, Effil 65, Gigi D'augestino, Moby. They're alll great!

I do occasionaly listen to Classical, and people like Dido, Enya, Celine Dion. Which is funny, cause I consider that 'girls' music. I just love the sounds though. All 3 have at least one song that have made me tear up. Ok sounding a little gay here, but just expressing my point of few.

I like Black Lab as well (not sure if its soft or normal rock). (Iits on the first Buffy soundtrack).
