*Sends Spoons food* We had an epic amount of steak and kidney pie...like, enough to feed a hundred. Want some?

I got to leave college early today, cos a tutor was away...so I went swimming at lunch, came back for my [usually] second to last lesson, and was then told I didn't have my last. Being all abandoned in town till I could get my next bus, mother dearest bought me a Costa frescato. Lushhhhh

And it's sunny. I <3 this weather, stay like this, please?
 
Did I mention how much I love this thread? It's just so positive, makes me smile every time 🙂

Mine for the day...
  • Avid Buffy/Angel fic readers will probably be the only ones to understand this, but Ducks is following me on twitter!! Me! *leaps for joy* 😀 now I'm just praying that she isn't a secret member of BB, otherwise I'm about to get really embarrassed!
  • It was a sunny and warm day today, even if I didn't get out to enjoy it
  • I paid off my Visa bill this afternoon (which isn't exactly fun but that means I have a month before I have to do it again)
  • My cafepress order came in today
  • My laundry just finished, so I can distract myself from room cleaning for another 5 minutes
  • I still have my three-foot Christmas tree up and decorated in my room, you'd be surprised how much of a mood-booster it is
  • I finally made some progress on my art website. It's still very much under construction and very cheesey, but here's a sneak peak for those who are interested: click!
  • I got hugs and cookies in the IRC today, what more can a girl ask for?

I got approved for the rental that I applied for! Very happy indeed.
I move in in a month and I've already started packing because I'm so excited to be leaving the share house that I live in.

PLUS: My fiance started selling a whole heap of his stuff that he doesn't use and we've made $700 to go towards new stuff for the start of our new life together! Plus the $1800 that our Prime Minister gave us and we're sussed! Definitely 'very happy indeed'. Oh yes, so happy with life that I just quoted MYSELF!
 
My new 24" monitor.
Moving the old 20" flatscreen as second monitor on my dual screen setup instead of that really old, huge, CRT monitor is a great improvement.

Cleaning up the desk at the same time feels good to.

ANYWAY, Spoons, I hope you're well fed because today I am happy for a couple of reasons.

1) I just made an AWESOME curry.
2) I just got an AWESOME wall from Lyri
3) I am having the best conversations over PM with Lyri and HisMrs (though separate conversations)
4) I just had my favourite 'conversation' on Facebook messages, ever.
 
I got paid from work today and watching a brand new episode of The Simpsons with the new opening credits, loved the episode though with Lisa getting high on some anti-depressant pills because she didn't want to live I was laughing like mad at that haha!
 
I watched the ducklings and mother duck messing around on the lake in the park before and after work today.

It made me feel good, for the first time in a while.

Nature is a good thing. 🙂

Watching Ally McBeal thanks to the Retro Ships thread. I forgot that it was so good, right from the very start. I'm going to be listening to Vonda Shepherd all night!

And, yes, I am now certain that it's Fish and Whipper for me!
